Than Massa was at fault for hitting Webber, he did about as much damage to his own front wing hitting Webber as Hamilton did to his own front wing hitting Massa.
So is it fair to say Massa should get some kind of penalty?
All i can say is go rewatch the overtake, Massa turned in very very early so early infact that he was never going to make the apex of the corner, he had every right to do so but Hamilton was pretty much committed to the corner at that point and Massa gave him only 1 choice and that was a collision.
As i said aswell Massa actually hit Webber which shows how early he turned in and that collision actually did similar damage as his collision with Hamilton.
Personally i couldn't care less if its Hamilton or if it was Vettel, Alonso or Webber for example i would feel the exact same way, Hamilton just has much more aggressive driving style so takes more chances and its why i love watching him (same with Kobayashi).
I just don't understand why a large majority on this forum seem to dislike overtaking in general since anytime there is an overtake that doesn't go perfectly there is a 20 page thread thrown up about how dangerous it was! this is racing for gods sake if you don't want to see drivers going wheel to wheel maybe you should change to something like Rallying or some kind of time trial sport where the lap times are the only racing you will see.
Overtaking especially on a track like Monaco will always involve a certain level of risk and unless they remove tracks like Monaco where overtaking is so hard or remove overtaking altogether these incidents will always pop up, why is it mostly Hamilton involved in these incidents? because he is 1 of the few drivers now days that will actually take a chance on an overtake instead of settling for the position he is stuck in.
No Lewis was at fault as it was no way an opportunity to get passed.GEEZ I'm a Lewis fan for FOOK SAKE and still people argue he was right.I can now see why people hate Lewis fans so much *blinkered* is all I can say.

You are assuming that at speed, turning into an apex that the driver is also watching that tiny mirror to see what the guy behind him is doing. It's entirely likely that Massa defended simply because he knew Lewis was back there and had no idea he was being bonzai'd until the collision occurred. That is why, as the driver behind, you wait until the last moment to dive up the inside instead of telegraphing it well before hand...you want to be there before they realize you are coming. The problem here is Hamilton wasn't there, meaning he wasn't alongside before Massa turned in....he started his move too late and knocked Massa aside. That's not a legal move.
