Well...having LP on your history charts is pass enough.

Anyway...more drama concerning my awesome batch...all of us got a shock yesterday when we discovered this post by a Prof from the previous sem on the university's social network. Imagine reading this just a week before getting your grades.

Pissed off Prof:
I have just finished grading the projects and the final exam for the course.
I am very disappointed with something that I found in the exam. For some reason and in some unexpected way, some of you guys were able to find the solutions to the questions in the final (I guess it was done through some web search process, as I do not want to think about people hacking my computer).
However, I wouldn’t mind if people had used the solution to the questions as part of the learning process, but some of you just copied the solutions they found, taking advantage of the fact that I allowed the use of computers during the test, without even looking if it made sense or not or if it was self explanatory. Hence, a lot of the answers provided in the written tests didn’t make sense, had no calculations behind them or lacked support. And what is even worse, some of you even copied the comments made by professor Damodaran on the solutions, without even changing the words, the grammar or even the mistakes.
Lastly, two facts are even more embarrassing for you guys: one of the questions in the test was changed from the original one from prof. Damodaran and you didn’t even realize the change and the solution to another test could not be equal to the one prof. Damodaran proposed because I had not taught the specific subject of private company valuation and you anyway copied, in your answer, the solution proposed by Damodaran and not the one you should with the knowledge that you have.
I have not taken the subject further with the University administration because many of you, even having the answers, did not manage to pass the exam, and for know I believe this is enough punishment plus the embarrassment of having been discovered doing such a thing in a Master level test.
Since I am leaving to my new dean post in <country>, I wish you all good luck. For those that really took advantage of the course to learn more, I am there to help you in anything you require. For the others and particularly for those that I expect are required to repeat the course, I hope you take advantage of this new opportunity to learn about the course subject.
Best regards,
Pissed off Prof.

When I saw this I was like f*********k...since I thought this guy went completely berserk and failed half the class (quite a few students found the solutions online and I had them, though didn't end up using them during the exam) and later a couple of students went to the admin to immediately find out the grading for this sem, and it seems 2 students will have to redo the course. Which is the biggest nightmare. But we sort of know who these 2 students are (f**ked the big presentation and also pretty much the weakest students in the batch)....so the rest of us breathed a huge sigh of relief.
It was so funny that one of my classmates who's about to do his CFA this Saturday admitted he was the one who wrote those comments by Damodaran (well he admitted it to his friend, and a few of us overheard) which the Pissed off Prof was talking about.
