you know whats boring AKR.......... AKR!! :wavey:

Yeah i watched about ten minutes of that game whilst channel surfing, its not as though i planned to watch the game thus no interest!

and as you say theres so much build up when they score so when its a 0-0 draw you still find that exciting? thats why theres so much singing and chanting and bashing going on in the soccer crowds its because its bloody boring between drinks
in AFL scoring isnt the only exciting part of the game, theres the "speccy" or high mark, theres crunching tackles or magic moves that make you wonder how he evaded the opponents. in AFL you need to be fast, tough, solid agile skilled with not only your feet but your hands. it takes use of your whole body! and a point i would like to make it would be easier for an AFL player to adapt to scoccer than the other way around. soccer players just are s*** with their hands they catch like girls

and again AKR just because Soccer is the world game followed by the majority aka "AKR" sheep, does not make it the best game or most skilled game so get off your high horse and have abit of respect for something that is older than your beloved English Football

You call me boring. Far from it......... and by the way your futile atempt to make AFL players look warriorlike is a farse. Like football players are crap with their hands. So what. Football is played with your feet, thus the name of the sport, FOOTBALL. AFL players are good with their hands because the sport isn't really football. It is foot-hand eggball. And like football players cannot use their bodies. Check out the really good fast players who can run and mamouvre a ball around other players using only their feet. Now that is skill. Anyone can do it using their hands. Too easy that way.

And Australia was conalised by the English, you speak English as a first language because the English were there first, you have an English head of the state, the Queen, now go play the football style the English invented as your number one sport. That is what you call soccer, the real football as defined by the FFA or Football Federation Australia and what Europeans and the English invented. Hands up to the English for inventing football.

You cut yet? Your feable attempts to get me cut have failed once again.:yes::thumbup::wavey:

I play football (UK) and you do have to admit they are puffs compared to Rugby players (UK).
Would say they have equal amounts of skill in both sports.

That is so rude. But I am not cut. I am single because for one I live in a foreign country and all the people I have met are not wanting to eventually go back to Europe with me. So if it isn't going to work in the long term why bother with potential serious problems......love. And it looks like I'll be single for a little while longer because I doubt any Japanese person will want to do the same when I move there eventully. So I am stuck being single Kiki for a while still. So you fail to get me cut again. :wavey:

Oh you do care, otherwise you wouldn't jump everytime someone bags your AFL. And Australia's football ways also includes what you love to call soccer. That is why the A-League has become so successful. If Australians didn't like soccer then it would of failed along time ago. Anyway it is nice to know that the Japanese love their football. I was there in Japan when Australia played Japan. I noticed plenty of Australians made the trip to Yokahama to watch their country play. That says a lot. Australians clearly love football/soccer. At the airport I even loved one Australian persons top. On the front it said, "It isn't soccer". On the back it said, "It's Football mate". Mate is comonly used Australian word I have learnt as well. Nice top. Was green and gold as well.:thumbup::D So I don't know what planet your on, yes Australians love AFL but they also love football/soccer so maybe you should get off your high horse and accept this reality. :wavey:

I am far from boring and that is a fact. If only you really knew me. Anyhow I couldn't really care less about AFL. I just say stuff because I know you will get cut. I could easily bag McLaren and you'll go off. :D Anyway I guess enough now. This was fun as usual. By the way what is a "usurper"?

Well if you are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, I would agree with you. He is a p00fter. :hehe: But players like Lampard, Del Piero and Nedved are warriors.:wavey:

Id agree that they are much softer than rugby player . . . by a long way!
However the skill level in rugby just isn't as high. and until it has revenues approaching that of football, it never will be.

Well Nedved and Del Piero are warriors in differnet ways to possibly Lampard.

Think of a big strong player like, erm.. say... Patrick Viera. Some hardnut, like Vinnie Jones they are warriors (Lamps is abit), still nothing like a Rugby player.

Nedved and Del Piero are warriors, in my mind, by the fact they have been consistently brilliant for years, and have battled throguh things like injuries and are still going.
Them two mentioned players are also quite dedicated to Juve are they not?

Lampard?? Warrior?? He's a typical modern day greedy, lazy poofy footballer who's only in it for the money.

But I agree with you about Ronaldo, he's an arrogant git as well who takes perverse pleasure in making people look stupid when he does his stepovers or gets them sent off when he dives.
