As for you suggesting un-equal treatment i think thats just you getting a big old spoon and sticking in the "pot" and giving it a good stirr.

I think Bill was referring to Lewis' fans...

Back on the topic of which is better...Jenson or Lewis....the points seem to indicate Jenson is at present. They indicated the same last year as well. Until there is definitive proof in the other direction...Jenson seems to be the better driver, despite not having the rabid following that the second driver on his team has.

Tooo early to say yet who has the edge, yeh JB has more points but i don't think he's beaten lewis yet.

Doesn't look like he's suggesting any sort of unequal treatment.
As for the rest, its true... way too early to tell anyone's getting beaten. So far, Jenson has made the 'best' decisions and gotten the best results; but with supposedly more straight forward races coming in Europe, he better be faster on the lap times and Q if he wants to beat his teammate. I'm thinking give or take a couple races they'll be quite equal (big mistakes or unreliability aside). Jenson has the most "room" for potential as he is only just getting to get on terms with the car.

But then again, Jenson disinflated in his 2nd half last yr  but i think Lewis will help him keep the motivation.

I think Bill was refering to the fans.
The refernece to the team was just another attempt to rile supporters of lewis since he refered to Lewis as the second driver on his(Jens's)team.

I have just spent 10 minutes cleaning up this thread of all the BS; if it happens again this thread will be locked and any subsequent Lewis Vs Jenson threads will be locked as well; this is ridiculous behaviour, if you have nothing nice and/or useful to say then keep your hands away from the keyboard.

This thread hasn't been on the radar in some time but I figured there's enough content between Monaco and Turkey to discuss... well Turkey since Monaco didn't go smoothly for JB no fault of his.

I head a statistic during SPEEDtv coverage of Turkey that stuck with me. With this win over the weekend, he's reached the podium in 50% of his F1 career races.

To be honest it's not a massive achievement; given that Lewis has been in a top car for much of his career; 50% podium finishes isn't that spectacular.

A lot of what was said about Lewis was media crap from people who didnt know him. True of all drivers i guess-penalty of being in the spotlihght. And the more in it you are the more crap things will be said.

Ah, so nice to hear the other side of the fence having "perception" issues :hehe:
