Poor Alonso. All this change and still dribbling in just off the podium. He's turning into Nigel Mansell - the right man in the right team at the wrong time.

Even poorer loser Lewis (loser lewis, has a nice kinda ring to it). Cant take care of his car like his team mate and has no points - Alonso got 12.

1, Allow me direct you to ourForum Guidelinesthey specifically prohibit name calling of drivers. Dont do it again.

2, it's just downright unbecoming and you'll be giving the tifosi a bad name.

3, Ferrari wasn't thrilled with today's results, neither was Alonso, so why are you?

Looks like Alonso's found this forum and received a major butthurt with Roth's post.

Lol, the tifosi prove themselves again

Generalizing a bit too much, Ferrariman and LiamCatterson are pretty cool n balanced fans IMO. Many Ferrari fans out there who're not d!ckheads and able to think like normal people. :hehe:

Not all but a large segment of Tifosi prove themselves to not know much about F1 beyond blind support for anything Ferrari and to oppose anything else at the same time claiming everyone else is anti Ferrari
We have a plethora of female I love Kimi/Alonso types who admit they are new to F1 yet are happy to get stuck in arguing the finer points of everything in favour of Ferrari

This is the typical Ferrari supporter and gives the knowledgeable ones a bad rep

You mean he destroyed his car on the warm up lap before the race started? That's pretty good going!

I feel desperately sorry for Ricciardo, what a cruel twist. But apparently Horner was told throughout the race that the fuel(flow?) was wrong and was given opportunity to correct it which he chose to ignore.

It's clear, they used Ricciardo as a guinea pig probably experimenting the whole way with him. After all, it's not Vettel who they'd be counting on for a late WDC charge.

I was surprised the Redbull was able to go flat out in the end and Mag was told to conserve fuel, now we see why.

I sincerely hope he does not have to endure the negative comments many people levelled at Seb because the RB9-6 was superior.

Don't know how you can premptively say this Spanky. There are a laundry list of reasons why Seb had to endure what he did, none of which Mercedes nor Nico have a history of, let alone a precedence for. One thing Nico does have that Vettel didn't, is a very competitive team mate in an equal car.

About the race, I'm glad that there was racing, I think there was plenty of racing going on give that this track is notoriously one of the most fuel hungry circuits. I'm sure the SC helped but glad to see that the tough challenge was met.

Ricciardo drove a great race but RB does deserve the DSQ, it's clear that this year, a Mercedes power plant is the integral key to success.

Congratulations to Nico, Mag, Hulkenberg, Bottas, fantastic drive boys. Ferrari might have as well kept Massa given Kimmi's performance.

You raise a good point - it is true that both Nico and Lewis get the chance to prove themselves, I was never confident that Mark quite got that treatment the past few years at Red Bull.

I think Dan being DSQ'd stinks. I mean I understand he broke the rule, but the rule is just wrong. As I said, before hearing about Dan's problem, it absolutely sucked hearing Mag being told to stop racing because he had to save fuel. I think RC put it accurately last year when she complained about the tires preventing drivers from driving to their max capabilities for the whole race. We only have limited laps per race and I want to see drivers pushing and being pushed to the max for as many of those as possible.

As I said in my previous post, the cars are slow, so slow they would all have been lapped last year and if we put a 10 year old car out there it would have lapped them all at least 3 times - probably more. Now I know I'm in the minority, plenty of people here are happy to lap up the slow cars and drivers saving fuel and tires, but, for me, the Emperor's new clothes are obvious.

Not sure I follow that line of thinking, he didn't have more fuel and if the sensor is to be believed he was using fuel faster for most of the race.

I thought it doesn't matter what your fuel flow rate is, as long as you use 100kg of fuel or less in a race distance.
