Great article! Thanks for posting. Dennis is an amazing guy, completely self made man. Full respect for his achievements. And that McLaren fine remains one of the biggest injustices in F1. Mosley can't hold a candle to Ron and he knows it. " 95 % of the fine is because Ron is a twat" . That says it all really and confirms what I always suspected. The fine was Mosley using his position to fight personal vendettas. Who is the twat?

^^ yeah the 7000 word article.

@Scotty. What I found interesting about the article is that it illustrates how the business used to be to a large degree. No F1 today would hire someone without an engineering degree.

That was a nice gesture. Sounds like all that talk about Lewis is difficult, the mechanics don't like him was a load of bollocks.

So the ones that didn't want to keep him there must have been further up the food chain.

McLaren is really going to feel the Perez for Hamilton swap IMO. It could end out being quite a decisive moment for McLaren.

In what sense decisive?

Maybe decisive in that when the car is not good, or a driver cant get the right set up, there's no one there to haul the car into contention and score points.

More like both drivers with similar styles so they can work together and help the team move forward rather than working against each other and getting nowhere.

Its like experts here believe Perez and Button have the same driving style just because the Sauber was the best chassis in conserving tyres (or not maximizing its window of opportunity) and Button wears his tyres out slower by driving slow. LOL. Doesn't mean they have the same style of driving genius.
