I don't believe that the decision between Kimi and Massa was an insidious one.

He had a year on his contract, he didn't want to quit F1 as he did try and get a seat elsewhere afterwards. I think Alonso had a clause not to have Kimi after his time at McLaren with Lewis.

Some people might agree; however, Alonso came to Ferrari to win a WDC with a team who IS a team!
Even if we have a 1-2 philosophy, ultimately, the WCC is just as important! The only way to get both
titles is to have two strong drivers and even if publicly Alonso/Ferrari back Massa, it's frustrating not
having a second driver who scores points consistently, in order to do that!!

You can't have it both ways. You take a team mate on, however good he is, and fight it out between you gaining lots of points for the team along the way....... or you hire a lackey.

So... my money is on Kimi or Fernando for the Belgium GP!

Surely that Jenson will certainly not win it... He's been quite quiet this year....

He certainly will do an outstanding performance in qualifying, but the race....hmm, his causes like the tyre failure in Britain for example. Will we see more of disastrous scenes of the driver we adore?...surely not. All the best for Lewis!
