Eva was my fifth grade crush... she actually liked me, and then went ahead and moved to Florida. Heartbreak in the fifth grade is difficult to deal with. :hehe:

I just got back from the hospital and turned the TV on and Sky F1 is on, the final lap of the Monaco GP was on. As I have had a distracting week. I kicked myself for no looking away as soon as it came on. also for missing qualifying and not putting my pools mark in.

I only realized that it was last years race when the constructors championship listed HRT....

The relief was good.

I was so annoyed as well. especially as it was the last lap. So I could not even turn it off and then watch it while thinking well Webber might not in lol

You had to realize something was wrong when all those cars were going way over the street speed limit.

I disagree! Chardonnay was once extremely popular, but that fact it is relatively easy to grow proved to be a hiccup. The Australians went through a phase of heavily over-oaking the grape, and gave it a seriously bad rep.

Now everyone jumps on the let's-slag-off-Chardonnay bandwagon. I personally like Chardonnay, as I find it sweeter and less acidic than wines like Sauvignon Blanc, which is benefiting enormously from Chardonnay's stained reputation.

I recently had a bottle of Chilean Chardonnay, only £7.99 a bottle, and it was GORGEOUS :cloud9:

I guess that's true of many wines.i mean getting a bad rep when there are good ones out there. I generally like Sauvignon blancs but have steered clear of Chardonnay for a while now. Maybe I'm missing a trick. But I like dry wines, don't like any sweetness in there at all. From the hills near my house in France comes a white wine called Appremont, also Chingon. They are both very lovely . You can't get them here, well I haven't seem them, so I have to stock up when in France.

If we ever do a Forumula1 meet, we should sample some wines or something. Would be good to discuss it with someone in the know

Definitely up for that! But I guess a lot comes down to personal taste. And if you like it , that's good.
