Well I got the job !!! I go up tomorrow to get sworn in and get my uniforms/badges and start work on thursday. Still not sure if I will be in patrol or the new court officer.

Thanks bro!! With the economy the last several yr's the number of people applying for law enforcement jobs has more than tripled but atleast 2/3's of them are just after another paycheck. I can't wait to get started.

Hello all I just finished my first week and made it home, hope everyone is well .

Howdy all .

About to finish up my 3rd week on the job and I'm really enjoying it aswell as the move from the big city to this small town of Marlin. I'll be moving into my apt this weekend (actually it is an old house turned into a duplex unit) and can't wait to get out of the hotel. I have adopted a stray kitten aswell as the cat that the previous tenants abandoned and I rescued a puppy yesterday that showed up on the courthouse steps so I now have a full house lol. He is going to the vet today to get checked out.

Hope everyone is doing well and I'm looking forward to watching the race this weekend in my new bachelor pad.
