They all have a bad year at some point. This year is Hamilton's bad year and Vettel will have a bad year at some point, probably when Red Bull eventually produce a dud which they inevitably will.

Stands to reason that he'll have a bad year. Things in F1 are cyclical. At the moment Vettel is at the top of F1 but there will come a time when he is not. it happened to Prost at Ferrari, it happened to Senna in 93, it happened to Schumacher in 1996 when his Ferrari didn't even make the 1st lap at times. In this day and age, no one is consistantly at the top for their entire F1 career. They can be at or near the top but never at the top every single year, unless they have quite a short career.
Red Bull's secret weapon is Adrian Newey but he has designed the odd dud, probably trying to be too revolutionary (much like this years Ducatti in MotoGP). It's happened before and it'll happen again especially in these days of reduced testing.
You non-Red Bullians or Vetteltonians just have to be patient. Heck, you should have tried supporting Schumacher back in the day. 96, 97, 98 and 99 were painful but then there was the reward of 2000 - 2004.
