Well apparently Fernando raised the question to the stewards, perhaps they penalized him as well for being a dobber! :hehe:

They didn't last time,or the time before or the time before :hehe::wink:
Perhaps they are just getting tired of him entering the office each week :hehe:

The weaving rule is so stupid....

You can thank Michael Schumacher for that.

Didn't notice this the first time I watched a replay of the race, but, watch this video from about the 58 second mark. What the hell is Nando doing with his hands when he starts????

FOMS blocked it already.

If you get a chance to watch the start again and they show it from Alonso's on-board camera, you will see he takes off and even until he's on Webber, his hands aren't on the steering wheel! You see him grad the wheel quite a few moments after he takes off.

For about the first two seconds, FA has his thumbs through the loops at the bottom of the wheel. Dunno why why he'd consider that advantageous but it looks like he only changed to a conventional grip when he needed to select second gear.

I still have the race on VCR but don't have the technology to snip the video and upload it.

I think that just about everyone agrees that the collision was a racing incident; with the exception of the FIA stewards. I remember back in the day we had hard entertaining racing because we didn't have stupid rules on defending a position; those rules have ruined F1 in my opinion; drivers are afraid to make ambitious overtaking moves for fear of being penalised and this incident will just go to reinforce that fear; even Kobayashi has toned down his aggressive driving style!

The weaving rule is so stupid.

I was watching some V8 Supercar racing last night. Oh, how awesome. Real racing.

I sometimes feel F1 is becoming a high-speed parade. :irked:

Weaving if excessive is illegal as if someone does it all the time, then passing would be impossible. You come out of the corner and you can go wide or not wide to position your car in the best defesive position possible. Before the next corner at anytime you can change lines again to position yourself for that turn plus be in the best defensive position possible. That's it. Anymore than that is cheating. Eitherway Hamilton I do not believe did so execively.

I still think it's a dumb, contrived rule.

There's a reason it wasn't a rule until this year.

I think this is conclusive and irrefutable evidence that the stewards' decision was wrong. If AKR says that Hamilton did nothing wrong, then it must be 100% obvious that he did nothing wrong.:hehe:

That makes 100% perfect sense because lets face it, when have I ever said (until now) that Hamilton is innocent. Very good point indeed Juliet.:hehe:
