Maybe Sutil was just answering questions being posed to him?
That doesn't necessarily mean he either hates or loves Hamilton!

Great article by Lauda. Funny enough it could be that Lewis has found the mentor he needs to put things into perspective, as Lauda brings something rough Lewis may have been missing.
Hopefully he will care less what people think yet remain the decent guy he is
I have been impressed with Lauda so far which was unexpected

"Hamilton could do worse than continue to listen to a man who literally went through the fire of Formula One and came out the other side, a champion."

Give this writer a medal. :hehe:

Well I've always been critical of Lauda, and a bit sceptical of his value in the team. But that was a great read! He is exactly what Lewis needs to help him cut through the crap that is written about him. I'm very reassured reading that.

I think we may have even seen the effect on Lewis recently. He seems more in control of the space around him. Like he is taking the mick out of the media and the haters. You got his sandbagging, then you got the 'pray for Roscoe' and they took it seriously and advised their raders to pray for Roscoe
He is been taken more seriously and even outdoes Kimi with the in car radio, 'hey man dont touch my fro'

"Get In There" - phrase of the day.

Tomorrow will be tense, Merc never showed great pace all weekend so hope there's more to come!

Merc were ok in long runs yesterday doing 1 55s,but I'm not sure if they can hold on,we'll find out tomorrow.if its dry,Brawn said they set the car up for mixed conditions, explaining why they were quick in the wet all the way through qualifying.

Hamilton: "It feels like I'm driving my best and have been for some time. Sometimes circumstances don't allow you to do your best."

If I'm not mistaken, if they qualified on inters, on raceday they are free to make any setup changes they need to tackle a dry race?

No,but they can start on any tyre they want if its dry.

Brawn: "You try and put things in place and it's really up to the drivers to see if they can make the most of it. We were just on the limit of being the last car. It did work out for us and with the track drying, Lewis did a great job. He really is settling in well to the team. All our team is gelling very well. I'm not sure we've seen all of it yet."

Hamilton:"It was a good job by the team. I was surprised when I came across line. I went wide in Turn One and my dashboard told me I was three seconds down and then it was four seconds and then six so I didn't know what was going on but I kept pushing. It's a blessing I am up here. Generally I feel comfortable in changing conditions. I can find the limit and I pushed through the middle sector and really caned it.""I was just so surprised when I came across the line," the 2008 World Champion commented. "When I started the lap I was about seventh or eighth and thought, ‘Oh my god’. It was raining more; I went wide at Turn 1 and my dash display said I was three seconds down, then five and six. I didn’t understand but just kept on pushing and I could see I was catching Sebastian. What a blessing! I’m so happy to be here."

Hamilton went on to explain that he still views Red Bull’s RB9 chassis as the fastest overall package, but is hopeful of putting up a stern victory fight on Sunday afternoon.

"This weekend they [Vettel and Webber] have both shown that they have incredible pace," he explained. "I'm hoping whatever the conditions we can try to fight it out with them. Red bull is generally a little bit ahead of us in performance, so that's why results like today feel even better. I think we extracted more than the car could actually do."
"I haven't had a good feeling all weekend. I'm not 100% confident we have the fastest package in the dry, but in these conditions, it's more of a lottery and the driver can make more of a difference. Our radar has forecasted it's going to rain tomorrow, so it's going to be a tricky race. Trying to choose the right tyre, tyre management and pit stops will be key tomorrow."

Rosberg:"It was a tough qualifying and in the end, I just got caught out. You just don't know what is going to happen, but it's still possible to do a good race from fourth. The car is good in all conditions."
