Can't believe how much lotus went backwards in terms of the tyre wear. :-\

What do you think you are doing not bashing Vettel in the Malaysian GP thread?! At least stay on topic! :whip::hehe:

Back to your comment, could it be a sign that Lotus could struggle in hot conditions? Australia was relatively cool by comparison which looks like it could have helped Lotus.

Sorry for that people :-P

I'm not sure, I was disappointed and tbh shocked too. They were equal to everyone else

Isn't it great how Mclaren groupies and Lewis fansboys can all come together and laugh at the discord at RBR? :hehe:

I'm becoming less of a Lewis fanboy and more of a Merc groupie as time goes by.

Lonely group though, although I suspect Cookinflat might be signed up as well.

Yeah the whole Merc team is somewhat really heroic in the way they have done their own thing and shown the others how to go about it. The personel are all likeable, even the old git Lauda is like a resident loose cannon that can go rogue on you at any time but is still his own man. Ross, lewis, Nico, Aldo, Bell, Willis - almost like the the A-team, despised, derided abused and have come back to kick arse

And Lewis now has real cover and protection, so maybe the HDL (Ham defence league) wont be as active as the haters choke a bit.

Anyway Lewis needs to stop being so soft and take whats offered if he wants to overhaul Seb. We don't wanna see Ham doing a Button on his team mate but at least just obey and listen to Ross and don't complain about it after

He needs to learn a bit from this chap

Im also finding Merc creeping into my veins. I'm loving the whole thing. Early days I know but it just feels right. Lewis is happy, excited and completely involved in everything. :yellowyikes: just realised this is the Malaysia thread. Think , think, think! didnt they do well at Malaysia :D

I like Nico, I like Lewis, I like Merc engines, but the chassis is fugly and the paint job is even fuglier, I can never support a constructor his a hideous livery.

I like how the car and mechanics look as well, specially in that wheel, changing video.

I always liked the chassis though some people think its hideous! But the livery is bland compared to many others out there, but hey it looked beautiful to me in Msia heading for 3 and 4.

I just saw this HILARITY.

Red Bull problems won't go away - Button

"We all want to win but [Vettel] drives for Red Bull and they have to call the shots," Button was quoted by the Times. "That will hurt Sebastian in the long run. I am surprised he did that, but there you go."

Button does not think Horner will be able to plaster over the cracks in Vettel and Webber's relationship.

"Instead of worrying about all the other guys on the grid, they are worrying about what their team-mate is going to do," the McLaren driver said. "It can cause an issue. Even if they sit down and discuss it, it is now going to change the outcome. It is still in their minds. It does not go away.

"If you are told to do something by the team and you completely ignore what they said and it costs your team-mate a win, that is big."

Button has first-hand experience of duelling with a team-mate when he went head-to-head with Lewis Hamilton in Turkey in 2010.

Ironically, Vettel and Webber had already taken each other out of the race when they collided.

And then Button leapfrogged Hamilton late on — although he was unaware his team-mate was told to save fuel.

The two buried the hatchet after the misunderstanding but Button believes the latest case with the two Red Bulls is a different matter altogether.

He added: “Lewis and myself had something like that in Turkey. He was told to turn his engine down but I didn’t know.

“Lewis thought they had told me, so then I overtook him and then Lewis overtook me.

“As soon as we got out of the car we discussed it and when I said that I wasn’t told anything, it was all fine.

Facts are an amasing thing when you omit half the story!

That was exactly what he said when the race was over "I didnt know, I didnt know", and then contradicted himself later on saying the team had told him to conserve fuel and bring the car home. You just pasted his 1st story in different words this time. Why then would the team tell him "Fuel is CRITICAL" when Lewis repassed him? Common sense would tell us that he had a warning earlier!

Another question (referring to that vid I just put up), how do you 'conserve fuel' when you race your teammate for the WIN? It's obviously a coded message since team orders were BANNED then, is Button that stupid to not realize the message? I don't think so.

Bizarre that they didn't think to mention it to Jenson!
