Really? ALonso says its Schumacher (Mercedes)

alonso says a lot of things
But i'm sure he's only saying that (about Schumacher/Merc) to downplay the importance and play with the minds of the real rivals.

Which in all probability will include lewis in a McLaren . And I doubt Alonso's musings will have troubled his mind one little bit. Made him grin I imagine at this attempt at mind games.

Day 3 has begun, Massa's car stopped on track and they say its dumping some liquid out....

Felipe Massa’s early-season running in Valencia has come to an early break, with the Brazilian having caused the first red flag of Thursday just over half an hour after the session began.

The session was stopped when the Ferrari spun off the track at Turn 5, coming to rest on the outside kerb while facing the wrong way.

With much smoke having drifted from the F150 across the circuit, GPUpdate.net has been informed by a photographer that flames were also sighted, with the car having then been returned to the pit lane with what appear to be traces of extinguisher foam on its bodywork.

Seb is looking to cash out on his WDC I'm thinking. He should exercise some patience.

they'd lap everybody because they would be the only ones racing. Its called Testing Marko! A few days in for new cars is no way to make a rational judgement.

Massa completes his installation lap after repairs have been completed after his fiery departure early on. Broken clamp on an oil line is what was said to be the cause.

There's a double purpose:
1. Upbeat Schumacher's image, which is the rival he's beaten, thus giving more credit to his championships
2. Downplay the importance of the new dominant, real rivals. Red Bull... and specially Vettel.

Lewis? huh?
He's not even ran the new car... and anyway, no need to play mind games on him, he's got his own mind to play them on him
