- Mercedes will be fighting amongst the front runners, rather than just behind them
- The front of the grid will be ultra competitive (and unpredictable) but once again it'll ultimately boil down to Red Bull vs. Ferrari in the title chase
- Button will be much improved IF the new tyres are very soft as predicted
- Force India will not have as good a season as they did in 2010
- HRT will fold at some point because the car will just be too slow to qualify regularly, no racing equals no income
- My dark horses are Virgin and Williams, for different reasons but i think they can both potentially surprise
- Kobayashi, as much as a like him, may find his second season much much tougher because the pressure on him has gone up greatly (i hope this one is wrong!)
- and because everyone else is making fanboy predictions, i'll do the same and say that Kubica will further his giant killing exploits

Yep....I've had years of disappointment to condition me for what's coming this year.

I really hope you arnt disappointed this year. Webber needs to win the title before he retires, it would be a shame for him to just fizzle out after such a long and often unlucky career.

*Vettel will go back to back just holding off Massa, Button with the MercGP lads not to far behind
*Big crash at Melbourne. And we see less than 10 finishers
*Kobayashi to get a podium in 2011
*Red Bull decide Webber's contract is not renewed at the end of 2011 because of a lack of speed halfway through the year. It puts RBR/STR is an odd position because they know there 2012 lineup will be Vettel/Algersuari/Buemi/Ricciardo. But they don't know who'll be at RBR and STR. And they can't sack Webber due to contract issues. So they have 3 seats for 4 drivers. So in the last half of 2011 they evenly rotate Algersuari/Buemi/Ricciardo between 2 seats. At years end they suprisingly decide to let Ricciardo race along side Vettel in 2012 at Red Bull because he scored more points and had often had the edge on speed.
*We see the return of 2 pit stop races due to tyre wear
*Overtaking does not become too easy and we see a GREAT season full of action, exictment and some crashes!
