- 08 Nov 10, 16:29#223973From a Ferrari fan point of view I really grateful that we are lucky to be the only team with our destiny completely in our own hands. If Fernando wins or comes second, it doesn't matter what anyone else does, he will be WDC. Every other driver needs to rely on the performance of others to win. If we're good enough we'll win and if not, we will congratulate RB.
In terms of the track, I think S1 will belong to Red Bull, while S2 and S3 (to a lesser extent) will belong to Ferrari.
And, as everyone has been dishing up some interesting scenarios, here's one I thought of:-
As the leader heads to the chequered flag these are the positions:-
1st Vettel
2nd Webber
3rd Hamilton
4th Kubica
5th Massa
6th Alonso
As soon as Vettel crosses the line, Massa moves off track and slams on the brakes, allowing Fernando past and into 5th place...
Of course, RBR would know of that possibility and could swap Mark and Vettel before they cross the line to ensure a RB champion.
"He was the fastest driver I ever saw - faster even than Fangio"
