Ah, great to see you online Bud.

I imagine we have all been waiting for your intellectual pearls of wisdom and the perceptive logic your contributions bring to the forum.
However do you constantly come up with the Shakespearean wit mixed with the Einstein-esque penmanship!

(thinks - should I PM Hammer278 to let him know this too is sarcasm?)

As for what Martin said about Vettel, well, thats a very interesting comment. What I get out of that is that while they were happy Jenson got a good result in Monza what they're really saying is "we're not here to come second, mate, and if you lose a race from the lead too many times then we'll get someone faster and hungrier." And lets face it, at the moment McLaren is Lewis' team, there's no doubt about it. Hopefully this is the motivation Jenson needs to raise his game and ignite the bomb we all want to see go off. But to be honest, after already being WDC I think his hunger is a bit less....but I hope I'm wrong.

It is fine, however, to DNF on a overeager attempt. You can tell there was a great deal of difference between the comments towards lewis than they were towards Jenson (with the Vettel acknowlegements)...... I dont think it should be much important (ie Jenson wont give too much meaning to it), but if something similar happens in the next few races, then I guess the so-called honeymoon will be officially over.

The Macca boys have been good, and they have it in their hands to turn it up a notch and see how real all their talk has been. they've been surprisingly good and solid. That doesnt mean the RB's have not been very good as well.

Mclaren certainly talk the talk... let's see if they can walk the walk.

Not a shabby reply young Bud - touche

Of course there's absolutely no truth to it, but then again, you've never let the facts get in the way of any of your previous posts :-)

they have been, dont worry they wont make one of their drivers pull over for the other! Thats the only thing that will piss either one of them off as they are both getting equal equipment both Lewis and Jenson have stated this over and over and are liking the current working relationship within the team.

sure... they can have all that with wine, under candlelight and a nice ambience music... But what they really have to have is the WDC + WCC. ;)

you can be cynical all you like fact of the matter is they have two drivers who both know they have a shot at winning the title. Cant say the same about your team! Who I would put down the bottom of best team mates!

ha ha
I know its cynical... but what can I do. Can't really say the Maccas are better if the Red Bulls are bringing home the results in 'spectacular' fashion. Also, the talk as sweet as it is... still doesnt mean its all real or that things will be smooth and nice when the times come to make difficult choices.

The Ferrari guys are not having many dinners and candlelights together though... but I think Alonso stopped playing playstation with his teammates once he met Lewis :p

They really aren't at the bottom,

One driver knows the team is backing him over his team mate. I cant think of another team on the grid where a driver is favoured in this way!

Look the backing thing is only massively relevant with the WDC, and only three teams are competing for that.

What have Massa's results been since he was asked to move over? Not too bad.

they have been ok, Nothing special. They would have been even better if he knew he wasn't a default No.2
