I hope the British crowd give Fernando and Ferrari a very warm welcome :D

Mhmm lol

McLaren are pulling out all the guns for this GP, a huge upgrade package including the blown rear diffuser.

Being that its a British Team with two British drivers, the last 2 WDC winners they should be really fired up for this race, we all know that they drive better on home turf.

I really do Hope McLaren (Hamilton + Button) can bring home a 1, 2. It should do good for the sport, as the confidence and fun will be/should be higher than ever before.

I reckon that the controversy will be a post-race official complaint from one team that the winning car is illegal. :nono: Probably involving Ferrari and McLaren and probably involving blown exhausts. Or maybe blown fuses if Hamilton beats Alonso again...

Due to personal circumstances I have now decided not to go, and am putting my tickets up for sale.

Please contact me if you are interested. They are 3 day admission tickets, roving seats on Friday and Saturday and Sunday for the Hangar straight.

Really can't wait, roving Sat and Beckets Sun. It's the first time I've decided to camp there. In 07 we drove to and from the circuit from Birmingham each day! When I was a kid my dad could only afford to take us to Quali, which was probably for the best in 96 because Hill got pole but retired in the race.

Dreaming of a British 1-2, its possible, but this season seems like anything is possible. As long as Alonso doesn't win I won't be too upset.

So where's the Forumula1.com party going to be at? :drink:

If it rains, Button will as always go for the drier tyre and will finish well based entirely on strategy, without passing a single car on track on the same strategy as him.

team: Jenson, it looks like there's a heavy rain coming within the next five minutes. Recommend switching to wet tyres.
Button: Shove your wet tyres up your arse. I'm stickin' with slicks!
weather: Oh, Button's sticking with the slick tyres? I better hold off until after the race.
race: Button wins after everybody else loses heaps of time switching to wets and back to slicks for rain that never came.

I'd really like to see a tire choice work against him for a change. I'd fall off my couch laughing with joy if he rolled the dice and gambled on sticking with slicks and then it absolutely dumps buckets of rain and he plods around the track at about 100 KPH and then runs off the track anyway.

Red Bull did a little show just outside of westminster. A little thing just before the British GP

What really annoy's me about this though is that I was in London on that day. But not only that, it was at 6:00, and I was around westminister at 7:00 that very day. If I had arrived just an hour earlier I would've seen an F1 car driving around the streets of London :(

Also, Vettel to win. He'll start a roll now after the Valencia win.
