So at t-100 days the track still hadn't been laid. I don't know how many days are left now, but that is a really, really bad sign...

Laying down the track doesnt actually take so long. Its probably relatively fast compared to building the rest of the track.

Hmm well if Chandhok is doing this demo run things may well be alright instead, if they don't have any more trouble with weather interrupting the building work.

But what they don't tell you is that Chandhock will be doing the demo run in a Red Bull rally car... :P

They have till 21st September when the FIA do their FINAL inspection

Well, yes, but technically that inspection is illegal under the FiA regulations. It should have taken place in July.

Chandkok's Red Bull was shod with treaded tyres for the testbut it didn't appear to be wet.

They do that quite a lot for demo runs and stuff. At Goodwood every modern F1 car seemed to be on inters.

I think since they have to use a car from 2 years ago they need to put the appropriate tyres.

Maybe the slicks are too precious...and the inters can be spared as they are used less, thus less expensive? :P

Bernie is positive the Korean GP will go ahead even if the buildings are not finished.

"We may just have to put up a few tents."

Presumably the racing will be "in tents" too...

You gotta laugh haven't you; Bernie makes all this grand claims that he wants top notch pit, paddock and hospitality facilities yet he is determined to have the Korean GP go ahead even if the buildings aren't complete, time for Bernie to be taken behind the wood shed and be shot!
