Unique circumstances made the Ferrari-engined Toro Rosso not only faster than the "big sister's" Renault-Powered Red Bull, but also outright fastest at Monza. Vettel has an uncanny ability to only win when the car is the fastest.

A bit like Jenson last season then?

The wins? Pretty much. For a couple of those races though, Button is the only driver who could have gotten that performance out of the Brawn (Notably Monaco).

Dirty little secret for you: most race wins are taken in the fastest car of the weekend. Shocking, I know.

Spot on to be fair. I Think Vettel is taking advantage of what seems to be a 100% chance of winning. Still no 25 points though....

In a Ferrari i might love him :)
But until then, i still *dislike* him. Same with Alonso to be fair, i didn't really like him @ McLaren, or Renault. Now in a Ferrari i love him lol. I liked hi ma little but not to the extent i liked Raikkonen. But still, Vettel is good. In a Ferrari he might be *Great*

I liked Vettel today.. did not do much entertainment-wise ON track as I said.. But I liked that he showed Webber who is the Big man in the team.. :D Webber was almost in tears in the post race interview. Vettel is just too fast for him, a real winner.. I won't be surprised if he turns champion.

he won one race from 2nd after a good start.

long season hes not nearly as good as Lewis or Alonso

He started 3rd

Regardless...if he started 20th he wouldn't of finished in the points

he's okay as long as the car is okay. I won't start on how i feel about him, but if he was @ Ferrari i would find it easy to love him. But for now he is very lucky with an incredible car. He isn't in the leagues of Alonso or Hamilton, they are in there own show at the mo and are doing fantastic might i say. Hammy did amazing today and so did Alonso given the circumstances. Vettel will not be in that league YET

Gaz i couldn't agree with you more mate. He had it easy and i think this like the Schumacher days. He got the opporutinty and ran with it like any one else would. We don't want that, we don't want RBR to have it that easy. We basically want Alonso & Hamilton to scrap it out end of?

AM I RIGHT?

Well seeing as only 17 cars officially finished the race, and with Alonso blowing up right at the end and finishing 13th, and with the red bulls being so fast right now, i dont agree with you.

Alguersuari finished 9th, and almost 35 seconds behind Button. If Vettel started 20th, i could see it being quite feasable to finish inbetween those too.

Granted, he is not the most impressive overtaker, and probably couldn't get past Button...........but the kids damn fast.

I don't think anyone would doubt Vettel's speed but I would doubt his race craft.

I think given the right set of tools he could be very quick and useful but he just don't seem to be able to grip the wow factor yet. I think he will in time, but he needs to be more agressive.
