Okay, the poll has a couple of days to go - we'll go with whichever gets most votes out of Birmingham, Manchester and London.

End of. :)

And Gaz, excellent point on the size of american house vs size of UK house. Plus there's the point that if someone dodgy turns up after you've publicised your address on a public forum, in the US you can just shoot them. In the UK we'd have to politely entertain them while hoping they don't turn nasty... :hehe:

:hehe:

I'm not going to refuse to go somewhere for a meet in all honesty, I moved to Leicester to LIVE for chrissakes, so I can put up with the likes of Nottingham for a day. I'll just stay clear of the trams...

Pathetic to say the least  !! Everyone (UK) wants to have a meet but cannot agree on a PROPER  setting either because they do not like the city or their flat is too small, w**kers w**kers w**kers!!!

Come on mate, how rubbish would be be having 20 people crammed into a small front room.

Some people don't like some places, fine we'll work it out so there's a place everyone happy with.

Like scotty says tho its not asif your flying over anyway?

It's surprisingly close between London and Manc - could be a tense result... :P

There used to be a sports bar in London that had a Williams hanging on the wall... that might be good, if it does actually still exist! Londoners might be able to shed more light on it... :scratchchin:

Not keen on London.

Hmmmm... think I'm going to have to have second thoughts now... :(

ATTENTION - new, exciting news about the meet-up.

Everything has gone a bit quiet about the meet-up. So, the chatroom posse have decided to take decisive action to make sure as many of us as possible can meet up. No, we're not taking over, we're just... erm... regaining momentum.

So... We've decided that the forum meet-up will be for the Turkey GP, Sunday 30th May, in York (radical, I know, but it's central, has good transport links and is a nice place).

The race starts at 13.00, so the idea is we meet at 12.00 - either at the train station or the venue itself (more details to follow - 7upJordan is a native, so he's looking for a venue). The following day is a bank holiday, so we're also planning to identify a cheap hotel for anyone who wants to stay overnight instead of heading straight back.

I know this won't work for some people - and I apologise for that - but we hope that it's a reasonable compromise. And if we waited until everyone was happy, it would never happen! Hope as many of you as possible can join us.
