I think the point is being lost simply because if Lewis did not have the god given talent he has Anthony's efforts would not be so glorified. Anthony gave Lewis the opportunities and support to chase his goal, nothing more. To see him so glorified for an effort that has already been pursued is beyond me but then again I do not look for the slightest opportunity to prop up a McLaren tent.
As I said I support his effort but he is by no means the first to persue such a goal.
First of all, who said Anthony Hamilton was the first to pursue such a goal,no one here did, that's you assuming we are thinking that,that comment itself says a lot. Who is glorifying him,no one,the fact remains that he did push his son and also gave everything to make sure Lewis had what he needed in an expensive sport. Jenson Buttons dad did the same, him and Anthony used to work on the karts Lewis and Jenson used to drive,they go back a long way.
Let's face it,you don't like the guy,not for anything he has done personally to you but don't make yourself look an idiot by saying dumb things. I know the hate eats you up but have a chill pill or go to a movie,in other words relax.
Lewis has got a great talent,it was Anthony who exposed that talent,he saw something in his son and let Lewis realise his gift just like many dads who have gifted sons at the top of their sport.
You don't support his effort,just tell it like it is,you can't stand the guy and you hate everything he stands for,right?
If you are going to hate at least have the balls to admit it,don't skirt around the edges.
I am a 100% sure that Anthony has not got you on his mind.
