i think mclaren and force india will both run well, mclaren have good mechanical grip and the mercedes engine in the best on the grid.

I thought Monza was going to be a toughie for McLaren? Cos its fast, like Silverstone? No?:confused: So where'd i get that from?

Silverstone has fast corners, which require a good, stable aero package. Monza has fast straights, and slower corners, which are more dependent on mechanical grip. :)

Yup :)

We will win in Monza.

1 - 2 Right infront of the Tifosi.

You don't know how happy i would be if that happened just imagine AKR's reaction. But i'm not to sure how it's going to go.

Force India will be back at the back.

I dunno, i fancy them for points at least. McLaren and Brawn will be contesting victory i reckon, McLaren have a huge, huge advantage with KERS though.

I hope Force India will be fighting for points for the rest of the season

I don't think Ferrari will win, maybe Red Bull, and think Force India will be back at the back.

i cant see red bull doing that well, are they gonna wanna run vettel at top speed for long with the number of engines he has left? i can see one of their engines blowin up in monza. plus their car hasnt got much mechancial grip.

the merc powered cars will do well.

yup i agree, cars that ride kerbs well are a must for Monza and the Red Bull isn't great at that. I think its KERS cars + Brawn all the way. Maybe Force India as they seem pretty handy in low downforce set up...

From F1 Live:

Along with three of his rivals, Lewis Hamilton’s Belgian Grand Prix lasted just a matter of seconds before he was eliminated from the race. The defending champion is seventh in the championship and while he can mathematically still retain his crown, he is fully aware that he cannot be a championship challenger every season. However, his target for the forthcoming Italian Grand Prix remains the top step of the podium.

"I know I’ve been very lucky - for the past two seasons, I’ve been in with a shot at the championship right until the end of the last race of the season, so obviously this year feels a bit different," he told his official website. "I might have missed out at Spa, but I really want to win Monza and see how competitive we’ll be in the flyaways. I’ll still be going for it, trying to get every single point I can. I know it sounds crazy, but I’m not going to put the title out of my mind until I know that it’s mathematically impossible.”

With the demise of the old Hockenheim circuit, the Italian Grand Prix is now unique in its low downforce, high speed nature. Hamilton believes that this could shake up the order once again.

"We’ve got a low-downforce package for Monza and some more upgrades ahead of Singapore, so I think we’ll be in the hunt among the front-runners," he continued. “I think Monza is going to be quite a bit different from in the past because we’re not testing there before the race. In previous years, there was always a big test at Monza before the race and that allowed you to get the balance right and, as a driver, to get yourself prepared for the high speeds of the track.

“Now, we’ll be arriving ‘cold’ on Friday morning and it will take a bit of work for everyone to get their cars working properly and just to get used to the lack of downforce. That could have a very interesting effect on the order, particularly if the weather affects running, like it did last year.”
