I suppose Trulli has had a reasonable season, but I'm surprised they haven't tried to hold onto Glock and replace Trulli with kobayashi. Does that mean Glock could be leaving Toyota and the team are holding onto Trulli for experience?

I think Jarno is just a great race driver, hes always Qualified well and I think he has the measure of Timo in general. I would expect Jarno to stay with Toyota for another few years yet.

Hopefully Glock will saty in F1, he is a very nice guy.

 i agree. He was really playing to the crowd at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, clearly appreciates his fans etc, we need such grounded (if thats the right word?!) people in the sport.

Hmm, strange to hear speculation of Trulli leaving Toyota, i thought he and Glock are one of the more solid and safe driver pairings around at the moment. :scratchchin:

I agree. In any case, there are always rumors floating around abount drivers leaving and moving to other teams. Look at Alonso, he's been moving to Ferrari for years. truth is you can't say who's going to drive for who until the teams confirm or deny.

Yeah he hasn't got his head up his backside and is very a friendly guy it seems.

There are rumours of Campos signing Pedro de la Rosa for 2010. I think it would be great for Pedro to get a race seat after all these years as a test driver. He's solid and experienced, and by no means slow. If McLaren were to drop Kovalainen at the end of the year, I would not be unhappy to see de la Rosa take his place. Similarly, if Fisichella was dropped by Force India and Liuzzi didn't take his place, the McLaren/Mercedes partnership with Force India could see de la Rosa get a seat there. After all, he did test for them.

Surely I'm not the only one that would like to see Pedro race again?

Agree. Pedrosa has shown awesome pace when given the chance with Mclaren? So i have real problems seeing why McLaren have not took him on before they even glanced at Heikki? A good car and Good engine will get him to top 10 places. A Great boss and team around will give him a great advantage next season.

Manor relaxed on driver selection rumours

The first rumours regarding possible drivers for the new British Formula One team Manor have now hit the sport's media. Team Principal and team founder John Booth however says that it is far too early to be looking seriously at drivers for next season with so many other aspects of the sport yet to be finalised.

It has been reported that team founder John Booth is in talks with the British businessman Duncan Chilton about a partial team buyout.

The theory, according to Switzerland's Motorsport Aktuell, is that a deal could result in Chilton's son Max, who is only 18, being slotted into a 2010 race cockpit.

However ESPN Racing-Live.com contacted Booth today and he was keen to emphasise that while he has met with Chilton, such a deal is a "none-starter".

Adam Carroll, the reigning A1GP champion and a former Honda test driver, is another possibility for a Manor ride.

Booth admits that the Irish driver is one that "would be of interest" for their debut season but went on to point out that the fledging team currently has much bigger priorities than driver selection ahead of the signing of the Concorde Agreement.
