I am sure they would let him drive it. after all car are meant for driving not for shining. it is not as if he is gonna go at it 100% and trash it

I can guarantee you, they wouldn't let him get beyond sitting in it.

The McLaren HONDAs probably wouldn't run anyway, HONDA have a habit of taking the engines back.

They were not. The pace (In the tests) was genuine. What remains to be seen is how much their rivals clawed back and if their rivals unfairly rob them of some of their pace.
