Seeing as though we are going to use whatever tempreture system we want I'm going to say that it will be balmy 297 Kelvin on race day :hehe:

Nico's already at it again with his favourite catchphrase...

Nico Rosberg is confident that the new Williams is strong enough to fight for podiums this season - but thinks it may take some time to unlock its full potential.
With the car having shown some solid pace in pre-season testing, Rosberg is heading into next weekend's Australian Grand Prix realistic about his prospects.

"Winter testing has been good, but I think we are not where we want to be just yet," he said. "However, the potential for development is huge because of the new rules, so we will be looking to making strong progress throughout the year to get closer to the podium."

Rosberg scored a podium finish in last year's incident-filled Melbourne race, and although mindful that his Williams needs to be quicker, he has not ruled out making another strong start to the campaign.

"I'm really looking forward to getting out onto the Albert Park track," he said. "I had a great race in Melbourne in 2008 and I am determined that we will have a similarly strong start to this season. In character, it's a very challenging semi-street circuit which usually suits our car well."

The car showed well at Catalunya-wn last week - a circuit Williams tend to struggle on - so hopefully the only other time when he says it this year will be at Monaco where I reckon he'll be able to fight for the win there.

Now where's that old F1 drinking game thread I made up last year? You should down a pint everytime Nico says his catchprase. :drink:

Indeed. Their performance at Catalunya has shown significant gains in the aero department compared to how they stood in previous years and setting the fastest time in Jerez would indicate that the mechanical grip that they've been producing over the last few years is certainly there. Let's hope Nico and Williams get some well-deserved wins and podiums this season. :)

I wonder why people are ranking Williams so low? I can understand that they didn't show their true pace too much and the only other drivers or teams who took notice of them were De La Rosa and Pat Symonds, but surely you'd think with that diffuser they'd be at least in the top 8 or even top 6. I would say Williams are on par with BMW and Toyota with Renault much further down - Piquet can go to the back of the grid for all I care.

Mine:-

Ferrari
Brawn GP
Toyota
Red Bull/Renault (Piquet letting them down)
Williams
McLaren
Toro Rosso
Force India

I preditct Piquet will come out at the start of P1 and put it straight into the gravel at the first corner and get stuck.
