thats f***ing disgracefull

Yeah it is bad isn't it? However personally I couldn't really careless. Nothing I can do about it anyways. That is life I guess.

Yeh each team should be paid equally enough said.

Hey Longbow, I did say it was wrong didn't I? I simply also added that I don't care as there is nothing I can do about it. What is disgraceful about all that? Gee you make me look like a criminal!

what? i was agreeing with you

Sorry I thought you said or meant that I was disgraceful. Oops. My appologies.

This is rather shameful for Ferrari.

Oh well, it is only Ferrari, most people like me will just turn a blind eye to it and move on and enjoy the coming races.

Broken record you are and full of it.

I will turn a blind eye as there is nothing I nor any other F1 fan can do about it. Might as well just enjoy the races as they come. That is all I am saying. Bud you are just looking for me to say something you don't like aren't you?

03 the same year FIA/Ferrari/Bridgestone all of the sudden got Michelin to make a new tyre right in the nail biting end to the championship!

Ferrari's success has been bought they can get duck :censored:

I've said it once, and I will say it again, that tyre was illegal and covered up in the same way as the flexible floor. It was designed to pass legality tests, but under race circumstances things were completely different. There would not have been a fair outcome for fans on both sides, regardless of what action was taken.

if it was an issue then bring it up 2 years earlier! bring it up as soon as Michelin joined the sport not when you start losing!

There is a global, motorsport crisis... a time when people/venues/teams/cities are choosing very delicately where to place their scarce $$....... and this is the best those shameless people at the top can do to validate and bring about a positive image to F1. No wonder the whole financial system is crumbling, and it wouldnt be a huge surprise if F1 follows them down the drain.

I'm sure everyone "in" F1 knows about such benefits and whatever other contractual agreements or whatever within the sport, i doubt its a ultra secret or whatever.... but i think they'd be much better off just keeping such details to internal meetings where they can be much more specific; or at least be more careful at how they portray the sport. for the benefit of everyone...

:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

Still... Massa for the 09 title. Or better yet, Alonso :D

Fully agree. But did they find out when Michelin first entered the sport?

AKR, I'll reply because you were quoted.

Listen, unlike you, I have a very open-minded point of view about the teams.

Although my main preference is for McLaren, I have a spot in me (how romantic, lol) for each and every team. Each team has a special thing going for them--a long, illustrious history (Ferrari), an amazing, wonderful driver (McLaren), a team struggling from zero to be one of the top teams (Toyota), a classic team *this close* to be one of the top runners (Williams), and so on...

So you see, I appreciate Ferrari, I really do. I love seeing them in a fight for the championship with McLaren. I find they're an integral part of what makes Formula 1 what it is. But, in the same way that the Spygate affair was something really shameful for McLaren (since they knew about the Ferrari dossier, but please let's not go off-topic with this subject), I find that having Ferrari paid a damn lot more money than the rest of the teams just to keep them there is equally shameful, and makes me feel bad for the sport.

You are right. I just find it hard to keep emotions based on nationality out of F1. In a way I like Ferrari like I would Italy in football or an Italian club in club level at an international level. I bag McLaren because they are some what like the Liverpool or Manchester United of F1 and I don't like those 2 clubs either. But what you said makes perfect sense, my problem is the emotional part and I find it very hard to control that. Overall I am not really that much of a nasty arrogant person. :)

You could open your eyes and stop supporting biggest cheats, profiteers, opportunists and liars in the history of motor racing, for example. Or, if you want to continue supporting them, you could spill some ashes over your head and stop pointing finger at others.

We need every F1 fan in the world to unite. If we all pulled together just £1 we could buy out FOM, take control of it and sack Bernie.

Sack Bernie? And keep Luca where he is now? :yikes:

Only reason Luca is hitting on Bernie is - he is expecting even bigger privileges from Max, specially if he takes his side. It is commonly known Max has an issue with McLaren already while Bernie was - at least formally - trying to be as neutral as his dirty mind could allow, so for Luca Max is safer bet.

Rotten as he is, I think Bernie is so bellow Luca's and Max level of "gaming".

It s hard to not support Ferrari when you are in Italian or associated heavily with Italians. I guess corruption exists in all sports.

I managed not to be a fully-fledged Ferrari fan when I lived in Italy. I even went to a GP there as a non-Ferrari fan.

Not all Italians are passionate Ferrari fans, not be a very long way & those that are can only be described as tolerent & indeed interested in & polite to fans of other teams.

Simply stating that being in or close to Italy means you must be a Ferrari fan is either a very poor excuse or shows a level of understanding for both the sport & it's place in Italy that is, at best, retarded.

Yes id agree. Bernie just wants money.

I don't know why so many are bashing BE now of all times, for once he's doing the right thing, he's saying it how it is. Montezemolo is in no position to demand more money as BE points out. He was trying to pull some strings which are already very taught. The prize money should be the same for every team, and if this is no good for Ferrari they can pack up and leave. I believe the sport will actually be healthier without these greedy and manipulative "sports men". HA, sportsmen indeed.

Yes, but don't imagine for one moment that BE has revealed this because of some altruistic desire to see the truth out in the open - he has revealed it in order to undermine Ferrari. He is the most corrupt, manipulative person in a fundamentally corrupt and unfair system and the sooner he leaves F1 the better.
