what i wish the renault looked like

That's the livery I was talking about a few days ago. It looks brilliant! 8-)

it is truely beatiful, it reminds me of a wasp

the very first time i say it on the modern car i thought ? but i quickly changed my mind

now, for that rich yellow, black sponsor......it would stand out in all the white cars we have now

I dno it would certainly be the most striking on the grid. Probably attract a raft of sponsors in a way...
Also it would give it cult status - just like the Jordan Mclaren Fan showed us earlier.

:yes::cloud9:

It also looks like Renault's old cars. Renault have some Formula One history, so they should flaunt it.

Exactly, when the reggie returned I expected their colours to return. And even after Mildseven left and I heard about the change in colour scheme I thought we'd maybe see a nice alteration.
ING could still work on a renault if they based the livery more on the early 1980s cars. Not this crap now :(

Crazy! You learn something new every day... What year is that from? Very early 90's?

It's a Footwork Arrows FA12 from 1991. I think one of the Footwork drivers had a nasty crash in that car when the front wing fell off so when Tyrrell brought out their 1997 car they had Harvey Postlethwaite and Ken Tyrrell stand on their front wing in front of the press to prove it was strong enough!

That standing on the wing 'PR stunt' rings a bell actually...

Also, i still prefer Tyrell's version, the car itself was better looking - until they put those stupid 'X Wings' on that is!

It also had a nice big fuel tank.

Heh, i actually remember watching that race on tv - he was definitely helped out by the awesome fuel consumption of the Cosworth V8.
