I don't agree. After Spain's last outburst of racism against him, sources at McLaren say Hamilton was deeply upset. "Sticks and stones" insults are in a much lower league than blatant racist vitriol.

The french are almost as bad! My friend wasnt alowed in a supermarket because he is portugese!

France is probably the only country that is ahead of Spain for its levels of racism. The French government, however, in recent years have tried to clamp down on racism and acknowledges racism is a problem in some sections of French society. Spain just takes the ostrich approach.

All F1 races in Spain should be suspended (for 2 or 3 years until the authorities prove that they can prevent this kind of crap. This should apply to all sports. My son was a Judo champion and he received racist comments from French and Spanish, usually after he had just won, but the authorities never did anything about it.

Mind you, I love racing so does that make me a RACEIST?

to be honest, I'm not racist at all, I'm not cornish either even though I live here,
but I know what it's like to be on the receiving end! you wana come live in Cornwall!

You should live over here in Suffolk, We take anyone. Polish, Portugese, Turkish, People from Essex (Hard to translate what they say though) etc etc. and there all good people. we all get along.

Not everyone in Spain is racist I've met some very nice people there and there are people that do actually support Hamilton.

Every country has it's racist elements as well as the majority population who despise it but what's going on with the Spanish reminds me of the UK in the 70's and 80's and until they admit to themselves there's any problem with it it won't change. I'm in no way saying the UK has solved it's problems and in some ways has gone too far which imo at times has been counterproductive but at least the problem is being addressed.
I find it sad to see (not only in the media and internet but also in personal life) that there is hatred toward someone because of their origins and a lot of those involved seem to be totally unaware that racism is a factor in how they're behaving, much of it is to do with their upbringing and appears normal to them.

Yeah, it wouldn't exactly be a big loss to F1 to lose the 2 most boring tracks in the world. Infact it'd be almost a gain. Bernie thought might see you as race-ist as he probably gets paid through his nose to host 2 yawnfests a year.
