I just find his voice annoying really and he just seems to curse any driver he speaks to on the grid.

Although he is spot on with what he says I just dont like the bloke for those reasons.

Rather sad I know. :)

Does anybody get that feeling the FIA will next try and force the BBC into taking on James Allen? Now that would be just super-low.

Look back at the drivers Martin has spoken to on the grid this season and then look how many of them had a good race. Its no wonder he struggles to actually get to speak the drivers on his gridwalk.

And don't forget Hamilton last year at Interlagos (or was it China?) when Brundle interviewed him on the grid for the first time ever? :P

His grid walks could be better, but he's a great co-commentator. But for me nobody will ever be as good as the late James Hunt when he was alonside Murray.

I am sure he talked to Massa on the grid in Singapore this year and well look where he finished that race.

And I remember he talked to Nico on the grid at Malaysia last year and look what happened to him. I wonder what would happen if he talked to Sutil or Fisichella?

He must talk to Sutil off-camera a lot, the way Massa keeps trying to ram him :P

And Kimi at Monaco, must pass Sutil on the way to the commentary box. :P

He also spoke to Glock at the German GP (I think) and he ended up having that big crash.

Actually its becoming rather bizarre I am thinking back to over this season and who he has spoken to and where they ended up finishing (if they finished at all for that matter)

See this is a reason to ban Martin Brundle or atleast ban his gridwalk.

Judging by that logic I bet he talked to Damon Hill as well when Hill almost won at Hungary in that crappy Arrows in 1997. I was on holiday and missed that classic race so I'm not sure if he did speak to Damon, but that was so heartbreaking for him.

Do you think Murray might be tempted to come back? F1 just isn't the same without him.

Well he did say "never say never". I reckon if he does come back he'll do cameos at most of the European races and maybe Australia - he's been doing Australian commentary for Melbourne the past couple of years.

EDIT: Errrr oh dear... think this is going to make Brundle more unpopular with you Bladesman, I'm a little shocked too... :eek:http://www.the-football-club.com/famous ... -fans.html
