Tex I usually think your comments are pretty fair (despite being a tifosi )But you're picking on Bud and McLarenFan here. They are entitled to their opinions and entitled to remain pissed off at the unfair treatment McLaren received last year. Ive seen yout responses to some reeeeeaaaalllly bullpoo posts on here over the last few days, (jokey,'we're all mates here' sort of responses).But then the author of those posts is decidedly pro ferrari

Tifosi starts with T, Tex starts with T, Tifosa starts with T, Taljanski starts with T so I am all for T and with Tex *LOL*. Bud and McLaren Fan you 2 seem to worpship McLaren more than I worship Ferrari. How can this be true???????? Oh my God I have become slack. Someone else is worse than me and goes for the wrong team. On a more serious note now I like McLaren's equality on the drivers. Good job Ron Dennis. Now hopefully you will loose a few more championships to Ferrari or Alonso as a result of this. Sorry got a bit carried away. Hopefully if Ferrari do not win then Alonso wins because he did help out Ferrari by telling on Ron Dennis so he deserves a drivers championship in return. *LOL*

alot of people hate alonso, especially nclaren supporters, (those poor souls!) but he is a fantstic driver, and belons at renault on the top step, he adds a bit of life to f1, there arent many characters like him, hes definitly not boring, (more controversial) dont think hes too fond of mclaren either!

there should be more english people supporting alonso!

It was nice to see mclarens fall from grace last year and witness the mclaren fan(s) clambering to salvage the situation!

I'm not certain I follow your logic. You say Kovalainen is 'no Fernando Alonso' and that he will beat Hamilton at some stage throughout the season, which suggests that overall Hamilton will have him in his back pocket. After all that, you say Kovalainen doesn't get the credit he deserves.

I agree with you 110 %. If you can't get many English people to support Alonso you certainly have a Slovene-Italian (Me) on Alonso's cause.

Besides someone like Alonso fits better in a team like Renault which is run by an Italian (Briattore) or Ferrari. Alonso is Spanish. Briattore and Ferrari are Italian. Spanish and Italian are Latin. They all think a like. Ie Alonso is number 1 and that is it. Like it or leave it. You watch and see. As soon as Kimi gets ahead of Massa he will be without doubt number one. It is the Latin way of thinking. Trust me I know as I grew up in a Latin country and that is how most people think. I couldn't ever see Alonso get along with Ron Dennis and Hamilton. They have a different way of thinking and doing things. Not that the English way is bad or anything, it is just different and therefore I never thought Alonso ever had a chance of getting along well at McLaren.

yeah, as you may have gathered im an alonso and more a renault fan, so i was happy for alonso to come back, would be nice to have a good car as well though! realistically i want renault to finish a genuine third but you never know!

mclaren and renault are two very different teams, the whole ethic seems different, as you say AKR,

i never thought i was so much a renault fan until i jooned this forum, nobody i know likes f1, and if they do its hamilton and mclaren as a passing interest! im the odd one liking renault lol!

Ferrari in the Schumi years AKR was run by a Frenchman and an Englishman and designed by a south african of anglo decent.... not very latin!!

Ive noticed you like your nationalities and you like to "think" the ones you are aligned to, "there seems to be a few" are better than the rest.

I like Alonso as a driver, but not as a person. I'm disappointed things didn't work out between he and McLaren. I think it would have been a successful combination.

I totally refute Texas' claim that bud and I are cyber bullies. I'm sure al4x is big enough and ugly enough to have a mature discussion about various aspects on Formula One and have people disagree with his points.

Next, two of several definitions of forum are: 'a meeting to discuss topics of public concern; a place, programme or publication where opinions can be expressed and openly discussed'). Moreover, the subtitle to the forum's name/logo at the top of the screen is: 'Always number one for discussion and news'. All of those, to me anyway, imply that the idea of the site is to discuss and debate all-things Formula One. As a result, I'm doing nothing wrong, for I'm not posting rubbish, I'm not posting lies, I'm not resorting to personal insults, I very rarely swear, etc.

I never had a feeling of sadness coming up.
And damaging? MM and many others don't seem to think so. On the contrary, the public at large took an even greater interest. It spiced it up like the yellow press does with things and (paying) people got attracted.
