F.Y.I. Kumbaya was originally meant to be a spiritually uplifting song.
That it's being used in such a derisive and derogatory manner might be offensive to some people.
But, who cares, eh? After all, it suits the purpose of those using it to, once again, take pot shot at that which they don't like.

Okay, so basically according to you I said the Ferrari crowd in the Miascuderia Safehouse is derisive and derogatory.

Noted.

Inferencing skills sadly lacking!!

In your attempt to take yet another gratuitous pot shot at the Lounge,
you've decided to use Kumbaya in a derisive/derogatory manner.

Better?

To be fair I think the Lounge needs pot shots taken at it. I find the mere concept of a private lounge within an open forum abhorrent, and Hammer should step his game up on calling it out.

Egads! What the hey were we Tifosi thinking? How dare we even think that freedom of association might apply to us!

Actually the funny thing is Kimi was scheduled to join Vettel and Red Bull last year before Ricciardo got the seat. That's what I've been thinking

Looks like Red Bull chose wisely.

Your opinion is duly noted and respected.

Having said that, no matter where you go, when there are a number of people having conversations, side conversations will always occur.
That's one way of looking at it.

Side conversations are fine.

Private 'selected memebrs only' conversations on a 'discussion forum' are not.

Look at it this way, when you go to a party/gathering and you see people off to the side talking.
When you approach them, they see you and obviously change the subject. Do you ask them to
leave the party/gathering, just because they do that?

Of course, you might feel like they're talking about you; but, in the end, you don't know for sure.
All you know is that they changed the subject. Big deal. That happens everyday in life, be it at
a social gathering, at work, in your neighbourhood, and I daresay, even in your own home.

I think you're missing the point here Sagi. It's not what's being talked about that's the issue.

Nobody gives a damn what you talk about, its just lame to have a little safehouse for a certain group which is locked to everyone else. Who cares if you talk about anyone else in there?

It's especially lame when questions are asked of specific members in this real forum, but the answers are provided in the safehouse (for fear of having to face a debate/proper conversation).

Oh, I get the point, RC. The point is that we have a quiet place to discuss all things Ferrari, as Ferrari fans. The point is that we can discuss/criticize constructively all things Ferrari. The point is that there isn't any gratuitous negativity about all things Ferrari.

That's the point of having the Ferrari lounge. And, I'm sure in doing a search of the word "Ferrari", you will have more than enough to prove each point.

You have the right to your opinion; but, you'll have to point out what question was asked of whom that wasn't responded to, as I have no clue what you're on about.

 as if.

...anyway, my little thread is already four pages long as Vettel is still to be fitted for his Santa suit.

thats the whole concept of the Tifosi and the Azzuri and all these politicalisations of sports. ofcourse they dont get because they dont even know what they dont get. Sports is about competition, a leveler, where all interact in one big arena. Instead the whole Tifosi army/family nonsense goes beyond partisan support and into segregation and exclusiveness - thats where the sporting aspect stops. And the captive face painted, s-agitated supporter gets to completely divorce sporting performance or competition from the card carrying membership of the party.

when a political party have a meeting - they dont open it to others or non members, so a Ferrari lounge to talk about sports, but only sports from a single team centric pov, so the competition have no say, they dont have to exist, its all about the one team.

Then when you take that concept to an open forum and have members discussing things in open and then refering to things said inside the safehouse, where only tame (or is it lame) accolytes agree. Takes the concept of open forum to a Mea Culpa level - its like saying the house of commons can debate openly but a group of MPs are allowed to continue in a private room IN PARALLEL and then rejoin using questions and answers from the private room as tho all the others know

thats as ridiculous as choosing drivers based on how many WDCS they won in a previous Newey car

This thread has taken off, I first saw this thread and thinking it would sit on the page 1 for a while. Got that wrong.
I would laugh so hard if Vettel did something weird and went to McHonda or something :hehe:
