Discuss the sport you love with other motorsport fans

Just as it says...

Imagine the groans if we'd kept this discussion going in the Kimmi Raikkonen Support thread?
#413297
Is there a Kimi Riakkonen Support thread??

If a tree falls in the forest an there's no one around to hear it does it still make a sound?

Ahhh... so that was your reasoning for starting this thread!!

I understand WB's rationale for starting this thread; but, if every comment didn't get turned into a battlefield, there'd be no need for him to create it in the first place.

Well maybe something is going on here, something more deep between Sagi and Cookin', something more....Chemical...

As we all know love is a battlefield.

If I were you, I wouldn't put even two cents on that bet!!

...By the way, you have avoided quoting the post where you believe you have your facts straight:
Stop press, more breaking news!!! Sports fan who swears dying loyalty to one team calls the gf of a sportsman at a rival team an attention seeking publicity whore!!!

But, to be honest, I knew you would, since such a post with me as the author does not exist!
By the way, I'm not expecting a retraction, let alone an apology!

Still looking? :hehe:

Christ Sagi, you really need to think more carefully before trying to be clever, I havent even bothered with your question as I didnt want to embarass you

first of all EVERYONE knows what you implied, what you said or didnt say - resorting to pedantry is embarrasing for all concerned.

Secondly, some of us didnt just fall out of the forum tree yesterday, some of us pay attention to detail and say exactly what we mean

Can you therefore please point out to exactly where this post mentions you? The fact you assumed it was about you confirms your implied statement. If you see an uncovered manhole on the street, you dont have to fall in Sagi. Who would be stupid enough to directly quote someone if there was no direct quote???? actually dont answer thet

Breaking news!! Sports fans poke fun at sportsmen playing for rival teams

Stop press, more breaking news!!! Sports fan who swears dying loyalty to one team calls the gf of a sportsman at a rival team an attention seeking publicity whore!!!

Breaking Irritating inevitability!!!!! sports fan claims to be honest and is genuinely shocked by bias shown by sports fans

And in today's other news scientists discovered a whole new definition of hypocrisy!!!!!!!

When defending yourself, the offence is always your strong suit, isn't it!!

and when shamelessly retreating, change of subject is your strong suit

at least you have the balls to try and defend your ridiculous opinions unlike some others who just run for the hills

You mean, yourself? Because you will NOT find a quote with me calling anyone that!!
It's one of those words that I just don't use. Along with a few others.

...first of all EVERYONE knows what you implied, what you said or didnt say...

Really? Well, none of you will find a post to quote regardless of what you may have ""inferred""!

So, in one breath you insist you say exactly what you mean, and with the next you refer to a sports fan (note the singular) and, to quote a smart guy:
...EVERYONE knows what you implied, what you said or didnt say...

Me? Retreat?

Buddy, backing off is NOT backing down. :nono:

When I back off it's out of respect for the other forum members, who
really shouldn't have to wade through reams of innocuous commentary
that is not only repetitive, but, which borders on the redundant.

Enjoy the race, I know I will!!

And therein lies the problem - when you are wrong, which you are more than 70% of the time, and even when you declare a 'mea culpa' or lack of knowledge - you shamelessly continue to tire us all by trying to continue by either changing sides or changing the whole point. This at best is disrespectful to other members who are too polite to point out how transparent it is. (but not me  )

You just admitted it - its like a five year old who always wants to be right and have the last word even if its patently obvious to others that your ""argument"" has no merit and is more about effect that content. As long as you get the gold medal in sagiland who cares what others think, they will forget by the next ""mea culpa"" anyway, eh?

This might be ok in the ferrari lounge where you are possible the most knowledgeable person there, but dont expect everyone to be polite after another bout of meandering (they are not even at circular level) quicksand shifting goalpost ""arguments"" which end up in yet another ""mea culpa""

I mean wtf does this mean 'Buddy, backing off is NOT backing down. :nono: ' kindergarten

Sticking up for your outlandish opinion is ok if you honestly believe it, but when you are willing to shift it at the drop of a hat instead of accept its plain wrong, and keep ""meandering"" just for the sake of making noise then not everyone can be expected to grin and bear it

and you dont have to worry about upsetting other members on this particular thread as it would take a real special breed of half wit to turn up and complain after the discussion on first few pages. So if you really feel like it keep em coming (hint: this would be a good time to take a break as you seem to have backed down from the Nicole is an attention whore pestering)

excuse me while I

But, don't worry, I won't run away, with my tail between my legs (metaphorically speaking)!
You're just not scary enough, after facing a class of 29 "cookin'-wanna-be"s every year!
In fact, exchanging posts with you is a walk in the park. :hehe:
