http://www.mercedesamgf1.com/en/car/f1-w05-360-video/ does this vid work for you guys? I get the audio but no video, cant find the footage on youtube ethier ;(

*Edit - its working now :) great vid, THIS is the sort of visuals we need to show the speed of F1!

The view is awesome, you see how bumpy that smooth looking track really is....but the sound is abysmal. Go karts sound more badass.

Ive always thought how wicked it would be if the drivers brought identical carts to each race weekend and had a 10 lap sprint race at some point in each weekend :D Imagine them going up au rouge :cloud9:

Yeah, and 3,2,1 WDC points awarded for the first three finishers! Make it like a 'support race' on Fridays between practice sessions. Teams hard at work on their cars, while drivers are supplied standard karts from 1 dedicated supplier. Won't that be cool.

I think we could turn around F1 with this one simple stroke, No one would care if the main event was all about the constructors and managing your race if they got to watch them all going balls out in Cart-F1 for 20 minutes :P:clap:

11:16 Hamilton leaps back to the top of the times on his 53rd lap of the test. First man into the 1m37s, putting him just a second shy of Vettel's fastest race lap at last year's Bahrain Grand Prix.

:) I think these cars will be fast enough by the time we get a couple races in

Surprising that they're so close to last year's best already...and they surely have more pace to come!

Thats a great idea, especially if the drivers have to manually setup their karts themselves with no assistance.

We're now up to three red flags for Day One and it's the Toro Rosso - as was the case on several occasions in Jerez - that has stopped on the circuit. Kvyat has come to a halt somewhere in the second sector amid what was just his fifth lap of the day.

Could this be the start of hell?

The way these guys are going faster n faster gradually is akin to a row of guys slowly zipping down their pants and being careful not to zip it down too quickly and reveal their package too soon. Of course there's a couple of 'guys' who're still checking if they have a package to start with.

You've given that analogy, much, much thought. Not that there's anything wrong with it.
