Sutil did indeed do well too, but he did start several places ahead of Paul on the grid, FI can be happy after that.

Not made Q 2 again. Two races in a row now. Bet he wont be a happy bunny when interviewed.

EDIT: nope not a happy bunny. Blaming the team again.
Meanwhile Sutil in Q3!

So what? He made q3
#361948
I doubt he will do anything with it. Especially with the McLarens behind. :hehe:

He did pretty well in Monaco...where did he end up? And where did the McMowers?

Yeah. :hehe::hehe::hehe:

Sutil ended up 8th btw...not 10th. Similar placing to Monaco, so he's in for a strong race tomorrow, the FI has some good race pace.

Apparently he had issues with the car's gearbox, he was in the pits and they were fixing it when the track was fastest, then when he wen't out again it started raining. Yet another mistake by FI there, same as last race really.

They've cost themselves a mammoth amount of points already this year.

They seem to do that every year since they've been in the sport, their strategies are really odd at times.

“It’s very frustrating to be starting in P17 so we need to sit down and analyse exactly what happened. Something went wrong with the seamless shift software during my first run in Q1 and when I came in the team tried to fix it. It was only a small issue, but we lost valuable time trying to find a solution. Meanwhile the track was getting faster and faster. By the time I had got back out it was raining again and therefore we missed the track at its best. There’s not much you can do in that situation, but it’s a massive disappointment given how competitive the car was yesterday. I’ll try and take the positives because you can overtake on this track and the car is strong. We need to come up with a masterplan tonight and I will be pushing hard tomorrow.”

Amazing drive by Di Resta...I think the guy went 55 laps without making a pitstop today. Insane drive, well done to the guy.

I was pissed off with Sutil today...spins on his own, then holds up Hamilton through half a lap at such a crucial stage, but wow, a spin, a drive through, and still ends up ahead of both McLarens.

57 laps without a stop. Was this a new secret Pirelli compound? :hehe:

Not just that, the racing was totally different from what we've seen recently, something's changed.

Nicely done though.

Yup, great drive.

It's the sponsorship on his hat that's given him the boost. Big up for Sheep Worrier Central! Woohoo!

After yesterday's disappointment Force India bounced back. Pity Sutil spun it or they'd surely have had a double points finish. Hopefully there are more strong finishes to come.
