What a farce!! MotoGP. Rivalling f1 for stupidity today. Marques has been the best rider all season if he looses the championship because of that it will be grossly unfair.

The same rule applies to every rider....everyone got it right other than marquez.....no matter who's at fault, the fact is that marc missed the required pit stop window....the teams and riders were briefed before the race so so this can't be blamed on motogp.....if you're looking for someone to blame, blame marc or his pit crew(whoever is at fault)....

Marquez deserved it. It was his own fault/teams fault, not the FIA, that they blatantly ignored what were VERY CLEAR rules. I'd say the same of webber if he did something similar!

Actually Marques did nothing wrong, it was a pit board error.

That said ........
they had only a window of two laps to do that tyre change
it was something new , not normal
They don't have radio contact.
Several teams made the same error- shows there was confusion.

I still say the punishment was too draconian for the crime. No intent to do wrong, a small error, on which the title could rest.

Shocking news in that Ben Spies has retired. Kind of liked the guy, but I haven't watched much in the last couple of years, so didn't know he was injured....

What a race from jorge.....valencia will be the title decider....whoever wins is definitely a deserving champion!!!! bravo to jorge and marc for making this an excellent championship!

Congrats to marquez for winning the 2013 motogp championship! He definitely deserves it! Definitely an aggressive move from lorenzo earlier. I'm a lorenzo supporter but I know how to be fair.

I supported marquez during his 125 cc and moto 2 days so I know how good this kid is. It sucks that he didn't go to yamaha but I'm still happy to see him win the whole thing in his rookie year.

Hoping for another close fight next year but this time, with rossi as a contender.....It would be awesome to see both factory yamahas contending for the championship...
