Simply put, you are actually wrong.

Nope he's always won from pole with exception of Bahrain when he only won because Lewis had brake failure and retired overtaking a car in the pits in not an overtake.

Out of all the drivers in the top four teams,

Button, Lewis

Alonso, Massa

Webber, Vettle

Schumacher, Rosberg

The only one who would be confused by the concept of overtaking is Vettle.

So yeh even Britney is a better overtaker than Luke Skywalker.

Seriously, i'm not even trying to argue Vettel's case out of fandom here (just stating facts that i've seen based on the past 2 1/2 years) but the guy can overtake.:confused::confused: Anyone doubting that should really look into his record a bit more.

Shitty quality but the message is loud and clear!

Yep pretty damn quality that

Nah, can't be quality - must be pure dumb luck according to some on here :hehe: And that attitude of his on track in that video is just horrible, too - how dare he passing one of the WCC winning cars on his home turf in front of his home crowd??!! Just terrible! :P

Where did the whole "he can't overtake" thing come from anyway? what a load of crap, he wouldent be in an F1 car if he couldent overtake, its not like these people are picked up off of the streets and given cars is it
#193439
I think you guys are imagining it, there's nothing special about that move.

DD's point is proven - around the outside of turn 6 at Interlagos, who the feck has ever overtaken like that on that corner? Not many people! Not many at all!

That's right, people can't just disagree with your assessment. They must be insane. And if they disagree with one aspect of your reaction, logically their entire reaction is absurd and extreme.

Ironic that you should claim that one eh?

I was just countering the argument that Vettel can't overtake for crap. Think i made my point.

You can think all you like. It's a free world. But one move, in one race, against a car a fair bit slower than his, doesn't prove a great deal.

I mean...one video, really? I'm not here to say that Vettel is a bad driver - he's one of the best, a fantastic driver. But if we talk about overtaking then he hasn't showed anything great like some of the drivers. Maybe it's because he hasn't had a chance, or maybe because he can't. As time passes we can tell

Anybody who thinks Vettel or any F1 driver for that matter cant overtake needs there heads examined, they have done all the overtaking they needed to do in other formulas etc to even make it into a F1 car in the first place, racing teams don't hand these car's out to anybody without having proven themselfs first

Hm, yeah I think I can agree with that. I'll say that "So far, Vettel has not proved to be a fantastic overtaker." Touch less controversial.
