What a huge dissapointment, all thanks to Bernie as I have already said. We were having a good race with plenty of passing and cars following closely before the rain came down. It then messed up Nico's and a lot of people's race as he was driving brilliantly and on course for a certain 2nd place!

Let's hope for a more sane race in Bahrain without any thunderstorm, darkness mayhem from Bernie pissing about with different race start times!

...China next isn't it? We've had a decent bit of rain there in recent years.

Today was a bit of an anticlimax in the end. :(

Damn, I forgot China is early this year... well that's not good, Shanghai is a crap circuit but the new cars will probably make this race good as long as the rain doesn't show up.

The cause of Nico's drop through the field was solely the rain and the lottery it caused, once again Williams have been robbed by Bernie.

can someone tell me what was the main reason of nico falling from 1st to 7th?

was it his pit stops which took up more time than the others?

Must have been or he was on the wrong tyres because Button was way ahead of him Nico has he exited the pits and all he put in was 2 more laps

Lol, Rosberg doesn't even know himself...

Well, I said it was going to happen and it happened. If that race had been started an hour earlier, it would have run its full length and the closing laps would have been affected by the rain, creating some excitement like at Belgium last season. This has proved just how stupid Bernie's ideas are. Congratulations to Jenson on another victory, and indeed congratulations to the few guys who didn't end up leaving the track when it was pouring down.

Also, Nico's pace does show that Williams have built a good car this year and it is unfortunate that their current points do not represent their true position. Trulli also showed just how good the Toyota can be. And Glock, well...I feel sorry for him. Had the rain held off, we could have been looking at Toyota's first win.

Whatever racing we did see today was very entertaining. It's no surprise that Brawn won another Grand Prix. Button is a solid performer and the car is great. The only time the Brawn is under threat is when another car with KERS is following it; but if it can hold off the other car, then it will drive off into the distance. Heidfeld drove another good race. In odd situations, his smooth style and racing savvy really pays off. He's handy to have about the place. I don't know what Ferrari were thinking of putting wets on Raikkonen's car. The track was bone dry and their pace was so bad they actually cost themselves much more. Desperado stuff. Since Brawn left, Ferrari's strategy department has made numerous gaffes.

And final word has to go to Ecclestone: slap it up ye! :knob:
