FOTA - crumbling from within.

I wouldn't go that far, the teams while united under Fota are still competing against each other.

And as for STR not being questioned, they have a different rear wing to RBR

I would disagree, if there is a nasty after taste from these diffuser appeal hearing, there is going to be alot of mistrust again between the teams.
As much as FOTA will remain a body, I doubt its power can ever be as effective as before.

Thats what the FIA want, its why hey let this diffuser drag on and its why they declared those three teams egal. Mosely and Ecclestone are desperate to divide FOTA to retain their power but FOTA have spoken thus

Mario Theissen - " there is a clean line between moving forward jointly in order to shape the future of F1 from our perspective on one hand, and on the other hand there is the daily operational business which is competition and this (diffuser dispute) is one of those second issues"

John Fowett(Toyota) FOTA vice chairperson - "I can't understand that it (The diffuser issue) is anything to do with FOTA.In FOTA we talk about long-term strategic issues for developing the sport for the future, things that are right"

Stick together boys and after 2012 you can kiss goobye to the shisters!

 Quite lucky. Great race though, a bit gutted for Rosberg and Williams though.

:D:D:D What was that about lewis needs to do things in a crap car?????? HE DID!!! ok bit of luck involved but he was there to benefit!!

GREAT STUFF BRAUN!! a new team is born!!

Great race indeed, very entertaining. Normally I find races where someone wins from the pole boring, but not this time. Superb start for Brawn. Lots of action on the road. Hope the season continues like this.

A shame for that Kubica Vettel Incident. I think from first analysis that Kubica was too aggressive, and could have waited a bit more and both would have finished on podium.

Lewis did well with a lousy car, but he was also lucky because others; both teams and drivers crewed up. Nico had was unlucky, he had all the chances making on top 3 too. Kimi screwed up, he should have been fighting for top 3 too.

Anyway great start for the season, impossible to predict whose going to win the season based on this, so much still open.

Can't wait next weekend to see it live in Sepang.

I agree, he still had 3 laps to seal the deal. But it was a typical racing incident, driver goes by thinks he's passed and closes the door on the other car. Kinda pissed but whatev.

Congrats to Jarno and Toyota too!!!! And Buemi drove brilliantly today!

Chuffed that Jarno Trulli got on the podium  i thought Hamilton (who put in a great drive himself!) had him with the KERS.... Trulli proving his defensive driving brilliance again. Kubica was impressive too, despite the incident at the end.

What happened to Rosberg? If it was tyres, they dropped off a hell of a lot.... And Massa? I noticed Raikkonen ended up retiring as well, but no explaination was given. :-|

Typical racing incident yes, but Kubica should have known that his hard tyres will make easy to pass Vettel, so he could have waited for a safe place. Of course he was probably still hoping that he could still catch Button.

Buemi was great, challenging everyone he could, really entertaining driver, hope to see a lot of that in the future.

Anyway did Rosberg actually record the fastest lap in the end, or did some one improve it before the last safety car?

Why wasnt lewis 3rd? had he overtaken under the safety car? I missed that bit, suddenly he was 4th

I want to know how Nakajima crashed, it didnt look like he did anything wrong. Terrible luck got the best of Webber...again. :(

Maybe, although when they said he was 3rd i was confused as we never saw his pass on Trulli, and you'd expect a replay of something like that.
