Been saying that since the first lap after they changed them!!

...
Completely convinced of it when I saw how hard Horner/Red Bull
were pushing and how little Domenicali's voice was heard!

That's because FI/Ferrari/lotus didn't have an argument to stand on, you say it was all to the benefit of RB but it was also for safety, you can't have a team boss saying "we need to keep these unsafe tyres because they give us an advantage!" I'm annoyed by it too but there were other reasons than just pissing off the tifosi.

It seems the positions at Red bull are already being set for next year. Marco says the relationship between Seb and Daniel will be nice and friendly........so long as Seb is winning. Unbelievable comments before. Daniel even gets there!

"Marko said he expected a more amiable relationship between Vettel and his new team-mate, Toro Rosso driver Daniel Ricciardo, another Australian.
"We hope or we are sure there will be a normal relationship," Marko said. "They are nearly the same age, there is nothing from the past.
"There is a good friendly relationship, and I think that will be good for the whole team that there is no tension any more and that the two drivers - at least as long as Sebastian as winning and Daniel is not beating him - I think their relationship will be very good."

I know there were "other" reasons! Reasons which didn't seem to exist until AFTER Red Bull decided the tires weren't working for their car!
Pirelli needed 100% agreement from the teams; but, that wasn't forthcoming from Ferrari or Lotus!

"Suddenly" the tires aren't safe anymore? "Suddenly" a tire manufacturer thinks that "changing the glue" would make the tires safer?
"Suddenly" the tires start to explode? And, voila, all the teams acquiesce to a change that they were concerned would ruin the season for them!!

Yup... Uh huh... Whatever!!

Ok sagi58, so you think that the FIA tips pirelli to make dangerous tyres for Silverstone that'll explode and fly rubber at 200mph into the path of another driver endangering their life and ruining Pirellis reputation.

Then they'd ask BRDC and Silverstone to build a kerb with particular tyre shreading possibilities, tarnishing their reputation, all on the request of Red Bull.....

Think of how many people would be involved in that, in the 2013 world of Twitter that would have leaked out already.

It wasn't tyhe tyres. It was the kerb! Silverstone made F1 BORING! By giving red bull advantage!

But, of course, Seb's Red Bull failed to finish the Silverstone race :P

Conspiracy theorists provide me with just enough entertainment to keep venturing onto the internet. If it wasn't for those folks and cute cats, I'd probably get a rather large amount of work done.

Did you really infer all that from my comment? I did NOT mention the FIA, YOU did!
I did NOT say they made dangerous tires; but, that they changed the composition of
their tires for ONE race, at Silverstone, to make it look like it was a "safety" issue!

And, I don't believe they wanted to put anyone at risk; but, they hadn't factored in
the kerbs and their effect on the tires.

As for their reputation, what better boost to a reputation than to say "we saw a
problem and we fixed it, FAST"!!

Since I don't "twitter", I won't respond to that particular comment, sorry!!
