If Rosberg was trying to prove a point, he chose a very strange way to do so. What is the message ? If you go into a corner with me behind you, I reserve the right to clip your rear tyre ?

I think that could be the case. Nico was most annoyed that he couldnt go round the outside of Lewis in Hungary and had to back out then.

Took the liberty to cut and paste this from the Judge since I know some of the members are incapable of browsing there for some reason. :)

That was very considerate of you; but, I would like to add that "some" of us can't be bothered!

It would have to be a big worry to any Lewis fan to read that Judge13 was on their boys side - given he's proven to be as accurate on F1 as Erasmus Wilson on electric lighting or Daryl Zanuck on TV or Enzo on rear mounted engines:hehe:

Actually on the video it looks like they touch tires first which surprises me. My recollection was that Nico was nowhere near that far up next to Lewis. Makes it a lot more like the video I posted earlier of Prost Senna Suzuka '90.

The judge isn't on anyone's 'side'. But I guess he can see when someone commits an blatant foul which is ignored by the ref.
it's a good idea to be bothered reading around, rather than sticking only to favoured sources, that way you have more facts and views to think about before arriving at your own considered opinion on all sorts of topics.

Big black hole on my iPad is all I see there, bit like the one Rosberg left in Lewis' tyre.

I'm just gonna leave this here

He f**ked up and got a drive through.

What did Rosberg get? Free 18 points over his WDC contender.

I don't see how that video helps anyone's case in anyway.

I'll reply to that :)

Hamilton is on the racing line in the Singapore incident video, Felipe went defensive, braked too late and actually it looks like he has an under-steer moment causing him to lose grip, speed and not get round the corner fast enough.

They were also on different tyre strategies so there was a obvious speed differential.

It's also not a teammate incident, it's on a track where there is hardly any run-off, hardly any space and it's also not on lap 2.

Just look at this picture:

Lewis is at the correct angle, position and place to actually make the corner, Felipe isn't and if you watch carefully he slides to actually make the corner after the contact. Usually without the damage he would have gone over the curb and out of the track limits.

Ryry, I disagree.

No matter if he's on the racing line or not, Massa was ahead. It was Hamilton's responsibility to make sure he is properly alongside to challenge and he wasn't. He tagged Massa's rear wheel and it was a screw up.

The point is he was penalized for it. I don't understand how Rosberg is given a free pass by the stewards OVER and OVER again. Claimed a free pole in Monaco through his mistake, and claimed a massive advantage in the WDC with yet another screw up which even pissed off his own bosses.

The goddamn sport is fixed.

A really good accurate post. I think I posted in my first comment that although I thought it a racing incident I still believed Rosberg should have been penalized, and I drew the comparison with the Mag/Kimi incident at Malaysia this year where Mag was penalized.

Just a comment in general on the much bandied about "racing line" term. The racing line is the bit between the lines that define the track limits. There are literally hundreds of "racing lines" for every track position and these vary every lap for every driver depending on a mountain of circumstances.

My well rounded reading can do without plagiarists or those that have been proven wrong yet refuse to apologize or retract.
