Did she like all 3..

Yeah, we saw avengers in cinema, liked but got Creeped out by event horizon and liked alien 3 special edition. Couldn't be bothered to put glasses on for avengers 3d so stuck to 2d

I hate 3D. Watched Avatar in 3D and just felt annoyed during the movie. Nolan REFUSED 3D for the final Batman installment, a major reason why I think he's a genuinely smart guy.

Loads of people end up feeling sick watching 3D movies (women more than men) because they look at the scenery when they should be focusing on what is 3D...

Also if you're sitting at the back and feel sick in one 3d movie, next time try moving forward a few rows and keep trying different distances, if you still feel sick you're either looking at the scenery or you need prescription glasses on. I wear my contacts + 3d glasses and feel fine, but if I wear just just 3d glasses I'll end up feeling sick.

3D simply doesn't work for me as I have very poor vision in my left eye...

3D just doesn't do it for me. I saw The Hobbit over the summer, both in the HFR 3D and in standard version and it just felt better for me in 2D. Like I was watching a movie, instead of having to think or worse, be pounded over the head with 'technology'. To each his own, but me? I guess I'm waiting for the holodeck.

I just hit snooze a couple of times then saw it was 8.20 and late for work so jumped in the shower. Drying myself off i was thinking its pitch black outside and then i remembered my phone crashed last night and the clock had set itself to 0. It was 4am :(

Its set to set time auto from network but its not doing it, is there any way to force an android phone to set the clock from the network?

I like 3D too, not so much cheesy the stuff coming out the screen but the depth, cant wait for the star trek movie, the depth in space scenes could be pretty amazing.

Oh dear. Not good. My phone never sets the time itself either. You'd think with all the gizmos on a current phone it would be able to do a simple thing like set the time :irked:

I have done that before. My old Windows phone decided that BST was a good idea. So it kept doing it. Alarm went off... I thought it was half 4am, only realised when I got in the car it was only half 2am

I would like to add that although work have ordered me a shiney new Image- I am still Image on my own phone.

I dont have a strong affiliation with either brand though to be honest - I just go with whatever product suits me best at the time. Last time I bought a phone, it was an Android. When I bought a tablet, it was an Apple. As thats what suited my needs at the time.

I dont understand people completely ruling out products, just because of the brand. I think some people (I know techies on here have some valid reasons for disliking Apple products) just do it to look cool, and hate Apple just because its mainstream.

Guilty as charged. :hehe:

I still have a Nokia, but planning to get a Motorola (Android) when I get back home...and my laptop is a HP ultrabook (which is like a Mac but isn't) just because I don't feel like joining the 'crowd'. Too many Macs and i-whatnot's out there.

But do you not feel that maybe, just maybe, there are a lot of them because they are good products...?

(not trying to change your mind, or saying you should like Apple - just trying to get an understanding)

Of course they are good products. I just fancy being stylishly different. :D
