Good job by Nico today, even though he put it in the wall in the afternoon, but that's not all bad as Nico will have found the limit of the car, and it could have gone faster. Because of the lost track time fixing up the FW31 the team are allowed the option of continuing to use Nico for some time tomorrow before Nakajima takes over.

If this was the 80's I'm not sure Piquet's laptimes would be even Pre-Qualifying standards.

He wouldn't even meet Perry McCarthy's PQ standard for Andrea Moda.
