Bye bye Massa! :wavey::drink:

indeed..

Ferrari - 1st and....15th?

We love you Felipe, but...seriously?

Poor Seb and Jenson, both wiped out (relatively) by the moving part of the track (aka HRT), its like dodging a bullet..

Bad driving by both if you ask me,not hrt's fault at all

filler!?!

These last two races have been just as, if not more, exciting than any races from 2011.

I don't mean like Maxwell's Silver Hammer filler.

I mean like when you have a TV series and every now and again they throw in an episode that doesn't forward the plot. It's just for fun. That filler.

What a race! Hate to say it, but worthy win for Fonzo....driving a crapbucket at the pace of Lewis and Seb is no mean feat.

Very, very, happy for Sauber this race, but I'm not voting for Sergio as man of the race (Fonzi takes it for me)....he easily had the pace of Alonso but blew it!!! How awesome would it have been for Sauber to claim a race victory?? :yikes:

Alonso man of the race...Lewis kept his nose clean and got some well deserved points but his pace wasn't impressive enough for victory. Crap pitstops took away his chances anyway.

BTW this race just made me even more frustrated with F1 today...in the 90's this weather would've been considered 'challenging' at most. Red flagging a race when they had wet tyres on? Ridiculous decision. What, Pirelli doesn't know how to get monsoon tyres working?:thumbdown::thumbdown:

3 week break for Shanghai! :banghead:

I'm starting to dislike the Redbull outfit a bit after seeing this:

Sebastian Vettel believes Narain Karthikeyan was responsible for the collision that brought an end to his chances of scoring points at the Malaysian Grand Prix and has called him a "cucumber".

Vettel was running fourth when he came to lap the HRT but tagged Karthikeyan as he passed, causing a left-rear puncture. By the time he recovered to the pits and replaced the shredded tyre he was 12th and out of contention for points. He said his puncture combined with a loss of radio communication ruined his chances of a decent finish.

"Most crucially we lost radio communication and that makes it very difficult in these conditions to know what's going on. Nonetheless, we did our maximum today and got up to fourth. To then lose the race how I did is very frustrating. Some people need to look more where they are going.

Talking to German television, he added: "As in real life, there are a few cucumbers on the road."

He said his pit-to-car radio was dead by the end of the race, meaning he did not hear the mixed messages in the final laps telling him to park the car and then to stay out.

"Today it was crucial to come in at the right time and having no radio meant we were delayed getting the messages and I didn't hear anything from the team at the end," he said. "There were problems with the car after the incident, but I wanted to see the chequered flag. There were no points for me today. Before the incident with HRT the way the race had unfolded was good for us I think, so it's frustrating to lose the race like that."

Team principal Christian Horner explained that a brake problem meant Red Bull wanted to stop the car but said the pit wall could not get the message across.

"We had lost all radio contact with Sebastian, which meant we could only speak with him via the pit board," Horner said. "After his stop he came up to the HRT who hit him and caused a puncture. The incident caused damage to the rear brake duct, which went into thermal runaway, so we wanted to stop the car before the end from a safety point of view. Seb didn't hear us on the radio and continued. Thankfully his car got to the end without failing, but the incident cost Sebastian at least a fourth place finish today."

Vettel doesn't realize his mistake? On top of that Horner is being a d*ck...how can the HRT hit Vettel when Vettel swerved into his front wing??? :censored::censored:

[sarcasm]I thought Seb was the perfect driver?[/sarcasm]

Seems more like a cry baby to me. You can't win 'em all.

Christian had to say what he did.

After qualifying just over a week ago we had people saying that Ferrari were a disgrace blah blah blah. How much difference a week makes. :D

Seriously though, the Ferrari car is not fast enough, as Alonso himself says. But, if there's any chance of Ferrari catching up later in the year, this is exactly what Alonso needs to be doing now. Staying in touch.

It's just the same old Red Bull story. I like Red Bull, I genuinely do, but the one thing that annoys me is that they always have a list of excuses, it's never just their own fault or error is it? I'm sorry, but Vettel is wrong now, just as he was wrong about his coming together with Webber in 2010. Today was 100% Vettel's fault - no argument can be made to the contrary. He overtook, and moved quickly back in front of the HRT which had no time to react, but he misjudged it and didn't realise that he wasn't actually fully past. Vettel's individual driver error. Horner doing his usual and opening his big gob in the heat of the moment without having bothered checking his facts.

Very impressed with both Perez and Senna today. Senna more-so actually as Perez obviously drove well, but after the great call early on (from either him, the team or jointly I don't know) he had a lot of clear air, whereas Senna was just driving through the field, passing people for fun in spite of having nearly been taken out the race (again) early on. Showed great maturity in taking the opportunities when they came, but not diving from distance into half gaps.

Really enjoyed the race overall! :)

Really enjoyed the race and well done to Alonso and Sergio. Unlucky for Button.
Lewis has got to take a positive from his third place, as it's more decent points for the championship. His time will come for a 2012 victory, soon. :D

Why were Red Bull so confused about whether to box Seb or not??

Not impressed at all with Vettel's reaction. he gave the finger twice and called Narain an idiot after the race. HE ran into Narain. But hasnt Narain been given a penalty?? I cant understand that if he has. There was no mention even of an investigation during the race. How can he have a penalty , he was the inn ocent party.

Another great race!

Fantastic stuff from Perez. I was really hoping he could challenge Alonso in the last few laps, but alas, it was not to be. Shame he made the mistake but he'll learn from it. To be honest, I'm happy for Ferrari. Seeing both Peter Sauber and whatshisname for Ferrari in tears at the end was a lovely touch. Maybe if Sauber had put slicks on Perez a lap earlier would have helped him win but oh well!

Both Vettel and Button were unlucky, but they both made silly mistakes that cost them. Hamilton just didn't have the pace today and neither did either of the Mercedes. And Massa! My God.. he really is on borrowed time. Shocking race.

Good man Kimi as well. Finishing in fifth was great. Shame about Grosjean going out and he needs to do well in China.

Also, terrible stuff from Vettel to call the HRT driver an "idiot" and from what I read above; a "cucumber". Very poor form.

2012 is going great! :D
