I remember Stewart saying the problem was that Ford tried to turn the team structure into the Ford structure but it was too lumbering and slow to react to the fast F1 pace. He also said they would have a meeting to plan when a meeting was

Fun fact: At this stage last season, Lewis had amassed 45 points in total with McLaren..which was widely regarded as the best car in the field.

He's got 40 with Mercedes right now which is at best, 3rd best in overall speed/race performer. :drink:

The Masons?

The babylonian brotherhood from which there's been leaders from US presidents, UK PMs and going back to the times of the ancient egyptians.

Nice one Hammer, what a great driver he is. I wonder if he locked his brakes on purpose at the last corner to put Seb off a little?

I was wondering about that lock up too since it was brutal. My thinking is he just gave that car maximum entry speed since he needed that tyre for just another 50 meters or so.

Hamilton seemed massively disappointed that he didn't have the tires to fight for second. I think the Lotus this year has a very good change of being the Blackhorse. Kimi will have all of the team's support, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him 2nd in the WDC, 1st is a bit of a stretch since Ferrari is very strong and Red Bull will still take away a good haul of points.

The championship this year is all about the tires, like it or not.

Yeah those tyres are massively helping Kimi and hindering the Mercs. Come on Mercedes get on top of those dreadful tyres!!!

I heard Kimi talk about the tyres in his monotone way :hehe: saying something along the lines......there's always been issues with tyres and its the same for everyone.......

Well he would say that wouldn't he since, the lotus deals best with them. :P

You really think he would deliberatly look his tyres on the last corner, with SV so close behind him, and risk losing the position? I highly doubt it.

I would say thats more likely...

Its all part of the psychology of defending, a good driver defending will be thinking of things like brake testing (illegal here) and dramatical lock ups tht cause the chasing driver to hesitate as he doesnt want to crash into the back of driver 'losing control'

So entirely feasible yes, I have done similar things albeit on a lesser scale
