Massa has clearly shown that he is championship winning material, I think 2008 proofs that.

It won't be easy for any of the drivers. It is too close to call.
I can't say i'm the biggest lover of Ferrari, but I would like Alonso to be champion. That is my personal wish, but there is nothing to say that such a thing will happen.
NO NO NO! NOT ALONSO!! If it has to be red then MASSA!!!!!
Nah...Massa's no Champion.
Yeh people forget that although he was close to Lewis, Hamilton did get the most penalties in a season EVER.
If that's true...Why was he champion? But he is a worthy champion and is bloody talented. So why take that? Massa's talented and can win a title. He can out pace the best of people!!
you miss my point, Lewis won by one Point in 2008 so people think Massa is almost as good as Lewis.
Not the case if you take into account Lewis Penalties.

Plus, Massa's actual performance that year overall was pretty unconvincing. After the first few races people were wondering why he wasn't getting the sack, and the question popped up again after Silverstone.
I like Massa and he's a very good driver but with a team mate like Alonso, a great driver, I don't think he stands a chance.

Well he did against the likes of Schumi & Raikkonen. Both WDC. on the same level!! So i think he has a chance if he proves he is on the same level on Saturday

He was 40 points behind Schui thats not doing well.
In 2007 he was nearly 20 points behind Kimi.
in 08 the car didn't suit Kimi so much so they brought a new chasis in for him.
sorry mate he's good, but hes no Kimi, Alonso, or Hamilton in my opinon.

Given a Brawn he would of won a WDC. There's a difference from winning due to talent like Alonso and Raikkonen or winning due to a awesome car, if he has an awesome car. He is above average and could win a WDC if he beat Alonso on the same car, Then he could win the title. But i do agree with you, but comparing him to other drivers he is a talent that will one day win the title, he's not a Heikki? Or Nelson? He's a Barichello, but better!!
I really can see him winning a title one day!!

Depends who was his team mate in the Brawn i guess.
Stick him next Lewis or Alonso and i don't think he'd be able to keep up.
To me Massa is a DC he's a good driver and he wan races but he won't win a title.

All the World Champions won on talent (Although Piquet was also a cheat). Massa would not have beaten Barrichello were he in the 2009 Brawn. And Jenson would have wiped the floor with him.

HA!!!! He has won so many races...Felipe Massa has won 11 races....JB 7? I think Felipe would of made a fool of him given a Brawn....He's not a champion he won basically on a decent car that beat a few technical specs....Vettel would of beat him given half the chance and technical jump? So Massa could beat JB and has done.....As many people could agree, i know your a decent JB fan but com'on? He won due to the speed of the car...I guarantee Massa could win more races in a season and not secure the title than JB did when winning the title.....
2008 - 6 wins!! Nearly all his wins in one season!! So he is far better!!!
And he didn't even secure the title due to the high competition!!! But as i said, JB got it due to the car....Massa won due to the talent he has....
Facts.... Something in which this argument of yours lacks.....
Massa in fact is a better driver.....Proven records.
