Vettel is a bleedin Genius!

So is Massa - very, very impressive.

Alonso and Glock though... :scratchchin:

I actually think Massa could win this if he gets a good start.

Well Alonso isn't really anything of a surprise, I mean he himself has said Renault reached their maximum today, the car isn't as fast as Red Bull, Brawn, Toyota and probably now Ferrari (let alone Mclaren on certain tracks). Alonso will match the Williams of Rosberg I suppose.

Massa is looking very good but how much does his KERS system weigh? 25kg? He might not have as much fuel on board as we think.

The best i can see Alonso doing tomorrow is 8th :( Again!

With KERS, the car will still be right on the weight limit, he'll just be able to use less ballast.

The great Lewis Hamilton still not getting out of Q2--this is disgracefull! It's not Lewis's fault. They just can't get the MP4-24 working. I'm starting to think there's an enherent design flaw with the car. The entire Mclaren Mercedes team--from the boss to kid that sweeps the garage, should by fired!!!

Lewis is not bigger than the team. For the past two years they gave him brilliant cars, yet in his first year he failed to seal the championship despite having a huge points lead going in to the penultimate round and almost failed to clinch it last season. I don't see how you can really claim that, as soon as the team make a mistake, they should all be sacked. If things worked on that attitude, surely Lewis should have been out of the team at the end of 2007?

His team mate Alonso, who was far more experienced couldn't keep up and you say Lewis didn't do his job. Sure he messed up in the end of the season but otherwise he was flawless. I'd be ready to put my life on line that Vettel couldn't have done that in his first year with Mclaren. I can't think of a driver who COULD have done it better

Lewis has the heaviest car, my gut says McLaren tactics is going to pay off again, with their heavy car and KERS in the start.

I didn't say Alonso did do his job, nor did I say that it was my view that Lewis should have left the team.

Massa

This is apparently the fuel corrected times as posted by the BBC
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/f1mole/2009/ ... ish-g.html

Massa has 17 laps of fuel compared to those around him, who have 14, 16, and 17. I'm looking forward to tomorrows race to say the least. Get in there :D Vettel is looking damn good as well. Just as long as they don't mess up their strategies

Williams, They look a lot better on a low fuel load, so why not fuel Rosberg lighter. Hmm, either way, hopefully we'll see Rosberg with some points tomorrow.

Hammy when asked at post Quali whether the scraps of upgrades have improved the performance of his car gave a decided 'No' answer, says it all really. I was expecting some major improvements to the McLaren cars, sadly not the case. The best Lewis can hope for is maybe 1 or 2 points at best. So with my team out of contention, I'd love to see Felippe nail a podium

Vettel! :D Strategy has to be spot on, even though Horner and the guys have a tendency to chicken-up at times...

Fingers crossed Webber stays out of trouble at the first corner... Hopefully a podium spot is on the cards for him.

I can think of at least 1 Brazilian who's going to make that very difficult.

So it looks like the Brawn and Red Bull are pretty even on pace but it also looks like Ferrari have made a big step forward with it's upgrades.

To bad Ferrari's stratgey is still circling the drain.

Jenson and Vettel really do need to watch their backs though with FM and his KERS. Worst case is he gets infront of Vettel not Button and makes the race really boring as he holds up the only person that could beat the Brawn Car. Lets face it there won't be any overtaking once its passed because overtaking a normal car on the circuit is nearly impossible but when they have an extra 80hp to defend with its just not hapening :(

Okay, so uh, I'm going for everyone except massa.
I'm a little disappointed in hamilton's position.
I know he is fuelled heavily, but I'm a little concerned because it feels like they're going backwards.
This season is so mentally draining ):
