- 17 Mar 13, 01:36#350340Should apparently rain at about 6pm local time (race start at 5pm). I hope the race doesn't get stopped through bad weather cause it might not be able to restart again due to lighting and such as we saw yesterday, which would plain suck.
If i were outside the top 10 i'd be starting on mediums, definitely. Supers apparently drop off by 3 seconds per lap over a stint (which i presume is around 10-12 laps), which is going to completely overshadow the one second per lap ultimate advantage from them, plus on mediums there's more scope to limit pit stops in case it rains. Of course there is the factor of tyre working temperature but i can't see it being worth the dropoff in performance the supers get over a stint. A lot of this really depends on how likely rain actually is and when exactly it is likely to strike.
Anyone hear how long an expected stint on mediums is supposed to be?
Rising number one of Formula 1, Juan - Juan, one wonders should Juan only win one Formula 1 one year, would Juan have won that one in round one, Juan??
