Incredible. They have not learnt a thing even after humiliating themselves in Austria 2002, USA 2002, Hockenheim 2011...they'd never learn I guess.

If Alonso wins this WDC (Which he wont) this GP is going to put a big black stain on it.

Oh my God. Some of you have short memories.

Last race people were happy with RedBull pulling vettel from the back of the grid, into the pits, and completely rebuilding and re-setting up his car, which was the only thing that allowed him to pull off that stunning result - even though some argued it was moraly wrong. Yet those same people are calling for blood because Ferrari are workining exactly the same way- within the rules, to give the best chance for the team.

Wtf? That's completely different...it was taking advantage of a loophole! This is not just taking advantage of a loophole, it's penalizing one of their OWN drivers to benefit another, I mean Massa really has no balls left today if he takes it quietly...which he will do. :bs:

Gearbox tampering to move Alonso to grippy side of the grid?
Never heard of that before but if Red Bull do it to then fun fun fun and shows people will stop at nothing, and how much is at stake

Rossi is the GOAT.
Villeneuve greatest not to be Champ

Totally different situation. Who did Red Bull screw over or sacrifice for their lead driver? No one. Red Bull too a huge risk putting their lead driver in the pits that could have cost them the drivers championship if it didn't pay off, which it thankfully did.

One of many differences though is that the Alonso/Massa stunt affects a second driver (i.e., FM) whereas SV's shenanigans did not affect any other driver since he was to start dead last anyway.

In Abu Dhabi, Vettel did not have Webber send to the pitlane.

I have nothing against team orders, but this just feels like the most horrible and shameful and disgusting way to do it.

It's no big deal.
I don't think its a good idea, mostly because it is a rective strategy; but if Ferrari think it'll help them... They shoul go ahead.

I think the only brown here is the pants of some Red Bull fans and anti-Ferraristas :hehe:
