Great drive from Sergio Perez, I so wanted him to pass Alonso, I did think that his little off track excursion was convenient, we all know that Sauber is near enough a Red Bull junior team! one for the conspiracy theorists. Really happy to see Williams up there solidly in the points, even happier that it was Senna that scored the points, I like to think that Maldonado was hit by karma after driving Grosjean clean off the road in Australia! I definitely wouldn't have predicted Fernando Alonso to be leading the drivers championship after this race!

You mean Ferrari junior team, don't you?

:eek:

I would not have guessed that Sergio would have been so quick in the Sauber. The rate at which he demolished the gap to Alonso in the wet and then again on harder tyres in the dry was just phenomenal. Sad that Sauber didn't pit him on the same lap as Alonso and sad again that he made the mistake, but I think he's done a good job of demonstrating yet again just what kind of talent he has.

It was also nice to see so many of the midfield teams get a good score today, though I felt sorry for Maldonado having to retire so close to the end of the race.

All the hammy haters need to take a long look at the race again, he lost the lead because his team left him out to long, i could see it coming, everyone with half a brain could see it was time to change so why did button get to pit first, thats what needs to be found out, also the second stop, 2 laps after when it should have been as RC said. Its the teams job to see the people going faster and pit him straight away. Lewis drove a sensible drive in tricky conditions after his team put him in 3rd, and didnt make a mistake all weekend, he also made his inters last longer than "smooth" button, which meant he could beat the Redbulls.

Not a fantastic race certainly, but a sensible, disiplined one yes, i think he knows him or button have got a great chance of being champion so hes thinking of the points straight away, like alonso does :) its called maturing :)

Great drives from Alonso and Perez, I did not see that coming, Perez should of won but still a great result for him and the team. You have to say that Perez is now knocking at the door at Ferrari now for Massa's seat.

2 really exciting races to start the season. F1 is looking real healthy on track, competition wise. Can wait for the next race

Just one of those races that's a filler. Exciting but doesn't really move the season along.

From one perspective, as a good as a win for Hamilton in the title race, and although his mouth said he was happy with third, nothing else did. He must wonder why his team lets him down time after time when it comes to strategy. Still Button and Vettel nowhere, and even if Massa moved to Nascar in that Ferrari he'd still fail.

Bye bye Massa! :wavey::drink:

indeed..

Ferrari - 1st and....15th?

We love you Felipe, but...seriously?

Poor Seb and Jenson, both wiped out (relatively) by the moving part of the track (aka HRT), its like dodging a bullet..

Jenson admitted he made a mistake and hit the HRT that was just minding its own business.

Same case with Seb.

If they'd have both hit a Force India (for example), people wouldn't be complaining as much.

Sorry to disagree with you but Jenson wiped himself out of the race. Can't blame Karthikeyan for Jenson's clear mistake. Cannot say the same for Vettel.
